I've seen a lot of corruption animatics before.. BUT THIS IS AMAZING. its my favorite one so far. you're so creative- these ideas in your animatic I haven't seen in any other art or videos. I kind of like this more than the actual sequence the show goes with. The body horror is real, but what really makes us uncomfortable is how scared Connie is. In canon, it's good that we had all of Steven's family experiencing the transformation; no doubt, that's a plus. But compared to the other panic attacks and breakdowns we had in say, Rose's Scabbard or On The Run, the Gems don't display as much emotion towards Steven's pain. Then stuff they did with Spinel, and then White Diamond, just completely killed the tension. What direction did they give Christine Ebersole? That this was suppose to be comedy? I like the idea that misery is self-centered, and doesn't help anyone. But why was that moment trying to inspire laughter or cuteness?

I honest wish stevens corruption was slower and more deep instead of it just bursting, like him slowly starting to grow purple and get the horns and such. And I also would have liked if Steven had a little bit of his corrupted form in him even when he was better. Like the other corrupted gems they had pieces of there corrupted self in them and to see maybe like little purple splotches on Steven after he was I corrupted would have been like scars of his past and such.

Steven Universe future is proof that's sans is at least based on steven because 1 no known mother figures and most people speculate that gaster is sans Dad 2 Stephen often acts like sense both Stephen and Sans they deal with their problems in unhealthy ways they both clearly had a past that has greatly impacted their future and now in Steven Universe future Steven is starting to dress like Sans his pink jacket just turn it blue and Steven tries to hide his powers just like Sans does and the argument that it would show is Jim then it is shown and change your mind that Steven will die without his gem so if something were to happen to it he probably died but there's a chance that you might still survive without it he'd lose his skin and body parts but he'd still be alive being a skeleton but I've been writing for too long I'll continue this later

Wow... this is... AMAZING!! The body horror? The representation of madness? The tension? It's all incredible!! Seeing his heart pounding was quite alarming, yet refreshing! Fans often forget that Steven does still have human organs, and isn't just a full gem on the inside. The way you made his heart pump out the pink gem energy really hit the nail on the head with how his human body and his gem interact with one another! 10/10 animation!

I thought so too but in the shot where the bathrooms broken hes in his PJ's, when he shattered jasper he came straight from the woods to the beach house and had his usual clothes on. I think this steven woke up and saw he was more corrupted and caused an outlash of violent power

I swear, I’m addicted to this, it’s BEAUTIFUL. I know you probably won’t see this, but I’m going to leave this here anyway because I HAVE to tell you how much I love it! Everything’s so detailed!! The folds in his clothes, the intricate backgrounds, the rough texture of the corruption dots/spikes, the cracking mirror reflection, AAAHH this is incredible!! Every movement is natural and the lines are clean and it’s just - YES. The clip with his beating heart in tempo with the music gave me CHILLS, you are AMAZING. You took a song I was kinda bored with (since I listened to it a lot when I was going through an edgy highschool stage) and made it NEW again!!! I love this!!! Good job!!! :D
