There is a big difference in misantrophie, nihilism, satanism, anti-religion/christiandom, selfhatred, ironie, distruction of everything in existence and utter depression. these are all parts of black metal and there are many more. sure there are connections between it. some bands combine these things some not, some bands have a different view outside the band while others are completely identifiable through their music. back in the days maybe it was a core fundament of BM but not today and the focus on anti-religion especially on christianity was always bigger then satanism. people who think otherwise did not understand the ironie, blasphemie behind their lyrics cause on frist note they seem satanic but they are not. just like the burning of a church does not mean you are a satanist

@musicointempero22566 жыл бұрын
@@andersonprimer Yup, it's an inner fascination with the darkness many of us carry. I have lived in Australia my whole life but my whole family seems to have this and I can attest for myself. It will only do damage to you if you don't find an outlet for it, ie the works of art you guys mentioned. My theory is Epigenetic-trauma due to a literal historical lifetime of constant warfare, genocides, invasions and annexations in that area of Europe. It has fucked with the genes of the people resulting in them becoming perpetually alert and encouraging the adoption of heavy analytical thinking to try prevent these things from happening again, resulting in the obsessions seen with certain topics. These tend to come out as personal values that result in different areas of obsession, some art, some politics, etc. But you can see it in the general Polish attitude towards life, well at least on my end. Essentially it's similar to general anxiety, however, I believe it has become ingrained genetically. Just my theory from talking to my family, having an interest in my background and country of origin as well as being a professional in the field of mental health and therapy.

As if you didn't know how it feels to lose As if you didn't know how it feels to lose at dice with fate As if you didn't know As if you didn't know how it feels to lose at dice with fate At least have some dignity As if it wasn't a lifetime Spent on connecting the dots There was no pattern As if the irony was more Than a defense mechanism And we could actually laugh for a change As if steel hooks in our backs Were more than a nuisance And we could actually feel something Self-crucified Missed the right tree Tore the wrong eye out The hissing Of hellfire Self-crucified Missed the right tree For this I've gained a victory I burn, as I ought to As if everything was to be made right one day Dreams don't come true For people like us As if the gods were bored With peace in our hearts And their fingers are itchy As if we never broke people Out of sheer boredom And slept calmly, among the wastes And then, we see bright and clear As if we would be someone else While mindlessly wandering through the mountains As if we would be someone better Spelling purgatory in Latin alphabet Self-crucified Missed the right tree Tore the wrong eye out The hissing Of hellfire Self-crucified Missed the right tree For this I've gained a victory I burn as I ought to As if all this was something more Than another footnote on a postcard from nowhere Another chapter In the handbook For exercises in futility

Aggressive yet melodic ! An absolute great band with an innovative style. Fantastic!

MGLA has surpassed Behemoth. Behemoth has decided to broaden their appeal and add elements of pop to their sound. MGLA has not compromised their style.
