Congratulations for a comprehensive review of ADAS features in a very simple language. Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist and normally activated only above the speed of 60 km/h by all OEMs. These features are meant to be used only on highways, where the lanes are typically 2.5 meters wide. Thus the driver has enough reaction time to counter steer in case the electronic servo steering turns the vehicle by mistake. Lanes on city roads are narrow, and can cause side to side collision. Also as SAE Level 2 features, LDW and LKA are only meant to avoid accidents in case the driver is sleepy, and loses control on the vehicle for only a short time of less than 10 seconds. LDW and LKA are coarsely regulated by UNECE R130.

I think xuv 700 ADAS features are more adjusted towards indian traffic conditions...e.g. for bumper to bumper traffic ,3 sec limit is not present in xuv 700...only interior is better in Astor as compared to Xuv 700
