MG is making a mistake by not providing a bigger battery option. Right now we have very few born electric cars so this car still has a USP (spacious and good handling). Even Punch and Curvv EV are designed while keeping ICE variants in mind. I think Mahindra can bring real competition with their upcoming BE cars

Yes, atleast there should be an option for bigger battery. Tata Curvv has bigger battery options: 45, 55kWh. But its price starts from 18L+. Other vehicles cost 25L+ which are out of context.

I have booked this car...This is wonderful and make lot of sense for the bucks....Battery car ka sabse bada problem battery ki long term durability hai...Now if company says pay me 3.5 rupee per km and forget about battery there is nothing better than this....look at it from assurance perspective ...neither i have to pay full money nor worry about battery health and issue ...deligating both of these problem for such low usage price is a boon...Rest car is very good. No tata car comes closer to it including curvv. I saw curvv and basalt in person standing next to each other and exterior baasalt looks buch and curvv is just nexon with boot....inside is also nexon so nothing special its like i10 and accent . This car gives you very premium feel and doesnt look like 10 lakh car. Booked mid model as it has all the bells and whistles and just cost 1 lakh more than base. Thats again cheap considering the value it adds like alloys leather seats full 16 inch screen and lot others. I would definitely recommed this for your second car and daily driver

I bought Punch LR Ev 3 months back and personally I am quite happy with it. I get a range of 300 km on PUNCH and MG tends to give 100% of their claimed range when you drive with a light foot. I was getting 4.5 km per 1%change for ZS EV when I test drove it. If I were to buy now, I Probably would buy this except for the fact that it is a bigger car longer even than Nexon and I specifically wanted a small vehicle, but the unlimited km warranty would have seen me buying this.

Bhai, thode sawal hai inko pad kar MG se pata kar ke batao. 1. In case of accident, jahan repair mein more than a month can take, usmein so called BAAS kaise kaam karega. 2. Agar accident mein ya even water damage ke case mein (dubai jaisi jagah mein floods aa sakte hai to fir kya possible nahi) kya hoga, company battery replace kar ke degi (if yes, to jo time lagega replacement mein uska paisa kaun bharega) ya nahi degi to gadi BAAS maregi😂? 3 In case of theft (agar koi battery hi nikal ke le gaya) to gadi khade khade BAAS maregi ya company replacement degi (bhai india hai, yahan gutter ke dhakkan tak chori ho jate hai). Aur chalo battery pack na sahi puri car chori ho gai to, insurance mein cover hogi? Agar haan to iska matlab hua ki kiraye ki battery ki insurance customer ko deni padegi? Pata kar ke bata paoge?

Without a bigger battery and being such a huge car it does not qualify for family car or highway car... Better they could have brought a small car with this battery pack..... 1. Spacious car, lot of interior room. Fit and finish good. Relatively sorted dynamics. 2. Range is not good in normal mode, real life traffic and highway speeds. ~220km odd. Really needs the 50KWH battery that it comes with in other countries. MG should not have downgraded the car for India. MG will be forced to launch the 50KWH version in a few months, probably after the new ZS EV goes higher. But that can dry up 38KWH sales and cause prices to drop, handing a loss to people who buy it now. 3. MG has focused on making the rear seat look good and comfy, but the ride is a bit bouncy in the rear (feels OK in the front seats). Chauffeur driven buyers riding in the back seat will not like this. 4. Even without the glass roof covered, the car gets hot quickly due as the glass area is too big. So AC takes a long time to cool, and we are in end-September. This car may get uncomfortably hot in summer. MG needs to provide solar cut glass from mid-variant onwards, and cooled seats to allow people to be comfortable in Indian heat conditions.

Highway rides, you will easily get 280 to 290 if you maintain Lightfoot with Max speeds of 80 to 83 kph and with 4 medium built personalities that can weigh 250 kgs.

Nexon ev ka ac bilkul fail hota hai jab aap summer mein gaadi dhoop mein park karta hoon. Jab gaadi garm hoti hai to ac ki saari hawa battery ki taraf divert hoti hai. Peak summer mein ICE gaadi ki yaad aati hai. Mere khayal se battery aur cabin ke liye ac alag alag honi chahiye.
