MG Astor Turbo-AT Road Test | The Sensible Review | July 2022

I've always found V3Cars videos to be very well made and information loaded. ❤️❤️ As an Astor owner myself I completely agree with the points raised in this video. Yes the fuel economy is a bit less. I was able to eek out 12kmpl on the highway with some spirited driving and then using the cruise control. I expect the economy to improve slightly after the 3rd service. I would have also liked roof lights in the rear and probably a light in the glovebox as well. Other than these the car is absolutely fabulous. It is comfortable, feels very solidly built, highway manners are excellent, braking is spot on (according to me), it is packed to the hilt with safety features, although the gearbox has a millisecond lag when down shifting and in kickdown acceleration. If one is gentle on the throttle, power delivery is smooth and linear and gearshifts are barely noticeable. Overall it's a very good car and MG's after sales service deserves a special mention. They are just brilliant.

I have Astor MT Sharp model. Very comfortable on a long journey. I cover 1100KM in a day without any fatigue.

0:12, Taigun and kushaq have torque converters on their 1.0 litre turbos. Seltos and creta diesel automatics are also mated to torque converters.

MG Astor is the best car in C2 SUV segment. Strong build quality, luxurious interiors, great ride comfort, smooth refined engine particularly in the 1.3L torque converter, all make it an excellent package. Add to that MG's premium after sales customer service ❤

Sorry to say but you are factually incorrect to claim that Astor’s boot space is 448litres. Astors boot space is 359 litres which is almost 100litres less than what you claimed. Please get the specifications right when you review the cars else it hampers the overall experience. Thanks 😊

Hi bro, because of IC chip shortage MG people released new EX sharp version which missing some features like traction control, electronic stability control, blind spot and hill assist. We already booked sharp but they were asking us to take EX varient. So is it good to take EX now without these features since they are missing in and 20k price was less compared to sharp normal variants, Can u suggest me

Went to MG showroom ,I probably spend the least time in the showroom compare to any I have been ,long waiting period like 5 months after booking plus told 15 lakh for automatic ,car look premium but not sure how reliable the product will be or will I get the car ,

Many of Astor's well known negatives have been cleverly dodged / fabricated. 1. The timings of the video. With card like Scorpio / VW Taigun/Kushaq /Toyota Hyryder making a push, Astor is not being talked about , obviously coz of its major negetives. Seems like a push from the company to rope in growing KZbinrs to promote their product. 2. Can you showcase hiw can you fit 3 suitcases (S,M,L) in Astor's boot (luggage for 4). 3. Did you discuss about the pathetic 360 degree cam? you chose to keep mum. 4. Any talks about rear seat comfort ?
