Camikaze, im a new subscriber, and I watched your video after I downloaded Planetside 2, I really don't want to go to a youtuber for advice, but what kind of game is this?

@@flinzyplayzz1422 FPS and MMO, currently the best game there is for epic fights and squadplay. However it is a long grind for new players and considering the game is almost 7 years old, veteran players have a huge skill advantage over newcomers. Don't get discouraged, it's a great game, try to use a and d keys to strafe as you tap fire, aim for the head and choose your engagements wisely. As a new player try the heavy assault as it will give you a 500 health shield when you press f, also don't bother buying new weapons or certing your vehicles until you have your abilities and your playstyle nailed down. Keep looking for tutorials, cyriousgaming has a good channel, try to join an outfit and play with squads, don't get discouraged and try to enjoy the game for what it is!

Hey Cami, I wanted your opinion on the charger. I feel like if they bumped the charged dmg to 200 it would balance. What do you think? Is there possible danger of becoming OP, like a (relatively) high RPM Gauss Saw in the hands of a nimble LA? Perhaps they can create an ammo or rail attachment that grants this 200 damage, to attempt balance. As it stands, I cannot understand their logic of offering 167 (which I consider to be STANDARD for NC, not bonus or unique) for a couple shots before falling to the sub par 143, all in exchange for, what, remarkably less than 100 RPM?

It's pretty insane, one of my favourite guns in the game. The 7-round pseudo burst is basically an advantage because it forces you to not spray. It even works surprisingly well at medium with the minimum damage.

I absolutely adore the Kindred, and it was an accidental purchase when I was trying to get the Jackal (I did get both and I do NOT regret a thing). The rotary animations are just so satisfying and it feels more catered to my playstyles than the NS7-PDW, despite how many years I have had that one.

I did the opposite - I had used the kindred on the test server, and gained enough certs on my main server TR to get it. I purchased the Jackal instead, not noticing the difference, but both weapons remain in my top 5 PS2 weapons.

just one thing, this weapon is a must buy, as it teaches newer players for TR to burst fire, which is usually why new players hate weapons like the carv, so this is a great training weapon, if you have issues with burst firing.

One minor error: You say 125 minimum damage (which is correct), but the onscreen chart says 112. I said in my own review that the Kindred is the best of the three new carbines, and I honestly think it's better at being an NC weapon than the Charger is. It's surprisingly competent at range; I'd say it could hold its own with nearly any other carbine in the TR armory shy of the Cougar, so long as you're good at keeping that recoil in check. The only real weaknesses are the smaller-than-TR-average magazine, and the small pool of attachments.

Cheers mate, slight error but not the worst. Yeah this weapon is bloody brutal, and definitely puts some NC options to shame (especially the charger). I’m keen to see what the devs plan to do with the charger in the long run.

I've decided to pick up this weapon and I have to say that I love it. I've used Jaguar on my light assault and TRAC-5 on my engineer, but this gun is great for both. The RoF of the first 7 bullets combined with the damage is just amazing and also it feels fairly accurate compared to both Jaguar and TRAC-5.

i think the worst part about Charger was that TR got THIS at the same time XD gains its perk every time you pull the trigger, great! meanwhile on NC...gains its perk when you run away and reload, and it has an unusually long reload for an Carbine...

A thing you forgot to mention is that if you exit a run and shoot the shoots of the kindred will spray all over the place. For better results, i recommend prone and shoot.

I would argue that the higher damage at longer ranges is what draws people the the NC for me it is just that I hate how ever other weapon feels for the other factions Bishop for the win

you would not like to have a bad internet, you die most of the time before you can even fire, i know because i play with 250 ping, and close quarters its impossible for me, i have played with 180 ping before and its was nothing amazing but sure was doable.

Do you use wifi or ethernet? If you use wifi and can get a internet cable (ethernet) use that because you'll get much more stable internet. Stability> speed.

I haven’t really looked into the watchman completely yet but I haven’t heard the best things, nor have I managed to find a sweet spot in my limited time of playing with it. Time to return to it I think :)

@@CAMIKAZE78 well at medium range it sorta suffers,but most of my friends and I treat it as a shotgun of sorts(Since 4 headshots kill most targets and the thing burps out bullets,main issue is bloom)

bmsqqq eh honestly the 5 or so shots makes it a cyclone with less damage dropoff, witch ain’t a bad model, but there’s not enough charged ammo to make it worthwhile is the issue. if they wanted to stick to only 5 rounds charged made the charged shots 200 that would shove it into incredibly good for those first 5 shots. Than pretty lackluster after that. I’d be ok with either solution I’d actually say the first ten shots being charged at the current FPS model would be the easiest means of fixing it

I have not used the jackal much outside the VR range, but statistically it appears to be pretty close to the stock NC Carbine. Granted, I do not have any data handy comparing how the recoil compares, but it seems similar but limited to within closer ranges

@@TheLeemaVids I do not have a ton of experience with either one, but from the looks of it, yeah I probably would. Though it definitely must be remembered that an SMG is for all classes. Imagine a cloaker with what is in cqc better than a carbine yet holds similar dps models

Something to rival the cyclone ? Lol. Cyclone; 652/60= 10.8 bullets , so 10 bullets a second * 167 = 1670dps. Armistice; 896/60=14.9 bullets a second so 14 * 125= 1750dps. So the armistice has higher dps. Only real difference is who can land more Head shots but hitting a Target at 6 meters with a high dps weapon isnt hard for your average player.

Lay off the trigger, after like 5 or 7 rounds the bullets will be flying off the crosshair. The lower effective rof caused by bursting is made up for by having more rounds land on target, even if you're not rapid tapping. A good way to see this in action is to buy the cheap burst version of the faction-standard carbine or AR, or use the burst option on the more expensive guns with select-fire

I used to use the Cyclone a lot, and I can agree it can be very difficult to use at first. I never got the hang of it, but that was with a far under speced laptop. On my current PC, the performance upgrade makes just about everything feel many times better. Plus, from my experience, the hailstorm feels a bit weak. It has a damage model that starts equal to the Lynx, but gets worse faster. Its RPM is considerably slower than the Lynx or the gen 1 TR SMG. The only highly remarkable and redeeming quality is its obscene mag size. You can pepper for what feels like ages and still have a half dozen left. Feels like a tiny LMG in that regard.
