Finally!! This is exactly what I've been telling everyone I wanted, not some practical, sensible "SUV", an actual sports car with sports car styling, ride height, handling and just a plain simple RWD option. An actual traditional sports car, but with superior EV technology! Honestly I didn't think MG would be the first to deliver, but I'm all here for it! Will definitely be looking out for this one here in Norway. Only thing I would change is an optional hard-top or coupe version for those of us with wetter and colder climates.

Hello MG, this ist a fabulos design. as soon as possible i want to drive this roadster. Currently my AUDI TT Roadster from 2007 is rarely on the street becauce I`m owner of the e-cars: MG4, IONIQ 6 an eNiro. I used to drive more than 340000 km electrified, but until 2022 more than 400000 km open with AUDI TT Roadster. I think the MG C ist the worthly successor for the AUDI TT´s. I gave my Agent the order an hope for a quick delivery in 2024. :)

very nice roadster, I think that the release of these sports electric vehicles, 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3s for the 500HP two-motor version of the Cyberster, will make thermal sports cars obsolete because the power is available from the start with this booster effect specific to electric motors

I'm puzzled by comments asking for ICE versions. What makes electric cars so electrifying is the fact that skateboard platform design gives an incredibley rigid chassis with a low center of gravity. Motors that are way more efficient and way cheaper to run. All this gives handling and performance at a reasonable price, and people want ICE engines 😮

The upwards opening doors are a great idea (speaking as an MX5 owner knowing how wide the doors open making it difficult to use carparks). However, how would they work when the soft-top hood is up? Would you have to put the hood down to open the doors? If so, not much good in the rain. Perhaps this is just a CGI concept….

Dear MG. Wow, what a stunner. But it's flawed. Too many EXPENSIVE gimmicks. The doors. Put standard doors and save $5,000 (at least). The dash. Put analogue gauges, elminate the giant screens - and save another $5,000. At the very least, pleast consider offering a "base" model with as few gimmicks as possible. If you did, I bet you could get this car down into the $40k mark. And if you did that, you'd sell tens of thousands more of them... - (Also, please please have someone who's 6'-4"-ish sit in the car. Make sure there is leg room, head room, and that the steering wheel telescopes back far enough... There are several million tall people who can't fit in a miata that would love to have this car...)

This will not sell in the UK there is No Recharging Infrastructure outside of Cities even in a City its rare to find one working , And when you do find one working there is a long line of EVs waiting to use it, And by the way These EVs are NOT environmentally Friendly, Look up how COLBOLT is Mined with Children.. Beautiful design, but the rear light bar is way too angular given the curves of the car, and those rear arrows look tacky and childish. I think I saw a hotwheels with those. Also the split air intake looks bad, because it gives a rabbit tooth look to the front.

50k upper trim. 3 trims apparently. Obviously switchable AWD is the way to go. The base will be 309hp which for electric is very quick. My moms Kia Niro has 200hp but 300ft lbs and thats very nippy.
