My pick is still the tata harrier. The car in its segment which is based on range rover platform and also gets suspension from jlr. Harrier is superbly built and the road presence is unbeatable. Other thing is that harrier offers a great combination of power and mileage. Hector is more of a gadget than a car, its ground clearance doesn’t look ideal for indian roads and tyres are too small.Another issue is mg light steering. I am not a fan of very high speeds just like indian roads, and harrier remains so stable and communicative till 120kmph. Best part is that it won’t feel underpowered anywhere. Except that ugly orange, grey and gold harrier looks just like range rovers and have undeniable road presence. And no matter what happens, tata will gonna stay in india but that can’t be said for mg and jeep. Booked xt variant after so much waiting

Great car, Hector and Harrier offers the best VFM in the market. If I do pick up a hector later this year, then I'll surely first take it to the tire shop before even my home. Those puny tires is crying for an upgrade. Higher section tires absolutely necessary.

This is not about the android device that is hanging, it's the app that have many bugs (12:00) .. Try opening the sunroof via app you will be treated with the nicely build error dialog box. Nevertheless nice car and the concept, need to work hard on the software side.

Turbo lag 2) steering is very light means it cant perform on highway confidently 3) substantial body roll at corner 4) gear shifting is bit a notchy 5) soft suspension means highway performance above 120kmph will be very risky Features r loaded but actual quality of driving is missing..Its not a driver’s car at all...

All reviews are just focussing on the features which is nothing but done with short sight. I can find a hell lot of issues with this car or the concept. Yes, it's good on papers however will be a burden for an actual owner. Eg, almost all features are tied to the central headunit and no way to do them manually. So anything happens to the head unit not only traps the owner in buying another one from the company but also have to completely rely on the sim connectivity range. Eg, the ac don't have any other manual controls, even in high end cars almost all controls have the option to use manually. Even with the display car, the screen hanged and not allowing anything to function and no way to get out of the stuck screen page. Yes it will turn few heads for some time and many features are there to attract the initial rush, but with time it will have the fate like compass like the higher maintenance.

Whenever people see an amazing mg, they call it Chinese. But the environment inside the car is way ahead of Tata (truck) harrier. Maybe that's why it has outsold harrier. Even Mercedes, BMWs have their brand logos on headlights, mats etc
