I myself own one and I'll tell you i get 8 to 10 kmpl in the city driving it on part throttle and not doing aggressive driving, if you do it the mileage will drop to even 6 kmpl. But on highways if you cruise at 80 to 90 kmph , it will surely return around 13 kmpl. I have got it myself and I've driven the car 25000 kms. I've done 3500 km long trips at a single time and the maleage remains the same and totally depends upon your driving style.

@@Amar-pu3ph hey, Seltos is not a homegrown car. It's Korean. And the reason,I was inclined towards MG is that I had test driven both the cars & harrier's interior was off-putting. The car may be great and infact the new one is way better but at the time i drove, the car was vibrating literally in traffic , it was just 7k run.

I believe u didn’t even cross 80 kmph throughout ur testing , even though u said it is a mix of city and highway drive, for most part of it was during smooth highway road below 80km which is totally unrealistic and almost similar to ARAI testing 😅.... so it is perfectly safe to assume petrol MG fuel efficiency won’t be more than 10 kmpl under mixed driving ... and at city driving 6 to 7 kmpl at best...

I never got above 12 kmpl even after driving the petrol dct with very sedate driving, not taking the car upwards of 2500 rpm, no harsh pickups. The fact is there are 6 speeds in the dct which is one less, it should've had 7 gears so that RPMs are lower. The engine is on around 2100 rpm on 110kmph at 6th gear which results in bad or not so good economy(lower the RPMs=least fuel consumption). I have driven the car for around 20,000 kms in city,highway, long road trips and in city it returns only around 7 kmpl.

100% paid review. Not expected from Faisal. Use to think you of a genuine reviewer but money talks. Some of the owners are getting around 6kmpl in normal conditions for DCT which is far below than claimed and have already raised the issue with top management but still resolution is awaited. Now Faisal specifically uploading this videos simply states the level of desparation for the brand image and what Money can make a person do. I dont understand why everyone is tearing into the petrol Hector for its lack of fuel efficiency. The Jeep Compass petrol also has ridiculously low efficiency, but no one rants about it. At least the Hector is providing the comfort at the levels of the Tucson or CRV, with more boot space than those cars too.
