Im doing a 66 midget with a 1500 as well. Mine is stripped and now doing body panel work like you did... floorpan, aPillar, lower hinge, inner footwell, inner and outer sills... i was intimidated by all the cutting and welding so had stopped work for over a year. Your vids have given me hope (and a guide) into what i need to do and which order. Currently a flintstones mobile (no passenger floor)... well done and thanks for posting your work... very nice indeed. All my motor and drivetrain is done ... just waiting for cancer removal from body..

Can't wait to see the results of the media blasting. I'm currently stripping my Anglia van and have decided to have that blasted too.

I too have been waiting for these vids to continue - I have one 1500 completely stripped for a long term project - and one I am trying to do a "quick" sills and patching job. I've been getting some good tips from you - thanks

nice video!! do you have any instagram or facebook page? I need some advice about my 1979 1500 mg midget machine... do I need to replace it with the same model or what other engine is compatible with my car? I wait your answer. Thank you

Is removing the front essential for the engine removal ? I need to replace gearbox as mine has ate itself and believe easier to remove engine with box
@VisionAutoGarage3 ай бұрын
No not at all, engine and gearbox can be lifted out of a fully assmbled car. A hoist is essential and getting the angle right :)

This might be a stupid question...but would you not get zapped by touching the battery connectors while unbolting the contacts? /using non coated wrenches?
@VisionAutoGarage5 жыл бұрын
+Joey LaCivita if you connected positive to body With a wrench, with earth connected, you sure would!

@@VisionAutoGarage alright, so as long as I don't touch the other contact I can stay away from crispy fingers? Awesome, thanks for the response!

Joey LaCivita don’t complete the circuit. Remove negative terminal first, they way they body isnt going to complete the circuit (assuming negative earth)
