MG Midget Donington Cockshoot July 2020 Race 1

Cockshoot Cup first race after lockdown. brakes failed in practice so started from back. Get up to first in class (after passing red ZS) but then alternator bracket snaps and pulls a wire off the coil. So only 4 laps to watch

I quite like trundling along a motorway at over 70mph in my Frogeye (std engine with better exhaust manifold and 1 1/2" Su carbs). Sure it's revving the nuts off itself, but it's worth it just for the astonished looks I get as I pass people.

Started at the back and clawed your way almost to the front, only for the car to break. Ouch! :(
