The last I saw of my Midget was when a suspension piece failed in 1969 LA and it could only move in a tight circle into a gas station. I hitched-hiked home and had to trade it for a big, clumsy Chevy. Good times with a good handling car. I once removed and replaced by myself and a Chilton manual the engine and transmission so that my mechanic, a Jaguar specialist, could replace 2nd gear. That car was more fun than was legal. It had plastic sliding side windows that were yellowing and scratched.

I use a go pro hero 9 with a wireless mic and the official gopro car suction mount . Works a treat. Plus that and your ears to trust what you're recording haha

I need to shoot this same video on a drive along one of the lakes, or into Watkins Glen and up to the track or through the woods or something. There's some really beautiful scenery and twisty roads in the Finger Lakes district of New York that these cars are perfect for.

No, sorry, I was disappointed, you might as well have taken any modern drop-top on those roads. I thought you might be exercising the steering and gears a lot more on proper Spridget roads, B and unclassified roads. Would have varied the exhaust note more too. There are many great Spridget roads in England and Wales, but you managed to avoid them, what's the point of having such a narrow, nippy, well handling car to take on such straight and wide roads. Each to their own - but you might suit a Tartan red chrome wire-wheeled MGB more. 😉

@@nta.16 I've just found some lovely roads round cheddar gorge and some in Wales near Tintern Abbey. They're windy. I'll give her a full service in the winter, do that as a video and then do a test drive ragging her ragged

@@AndysMGAdventures better but roads still too wide for Spridget fun. If you wanted I could give you better Spridget roads than those in Wales, more scenic and better for videos too. Go mid-week in September and you'll have the roads to yourself other than perhaps a few (Rally-driver type) locals. Weekends could be very slow touring classics and touring bikers. (And no I don't mean the Evo Triangle, that's not a Spridget route leave that to the Porsches.)
