Hi funnily enough I'm just doing exactly the same work on my 73 RWA Midget. Ive almost got the drivers side done and will soon be starting on the other side. When its finished i'm also thinking of doing some hillclimbs and sprints in the future. I used to hillclimb a mini in my youth before I went circuit racing keep up the good work and good luck with the resto/ preparation. Regards Louise

Your work really looks good. Those foot well cavities are rust havens. I restored the original hole in the bottom when I repaired my 69 and I plan to leave it open just to keep that area dry. I might use spray some Waxoyl occasionally to keep it healthy

Thanks for the comment. appreciate the support. The weld clamps came off ebay but are widely available. Search for butt weld clamps and youll find them. They really are good and of great help when replacing a midget floor panel

Btw I meant to ask who's panels are you using ? I've used Ashley Hinton panels and find they fit very well. Regards Louise

I used ashley hinton panels for most of the build bar a few i couldnt get hold of. i found them very good aswell
