Today I weld in the outer footwell panel after mocking it all up to make sure it is all lined up correctly. The fitting and prepping always takes longer than I think.

You're gettin' 'er done, and it's looking good! Every panel I installed had to be trimmed and tweaked before it would fit just right. You're correct; outer sill goes on before the A-post.

Haha thanks! The problem through the winter is the lighting but I plan to keep working as long as possible.

It was great to put the fender on even for just a short time.

Hey when you welded in that outer foot well panel, did you use the holes from the drilled out welds at the top for your plug welds? I'm considering that, but the drilled out ones are definitely larger than what I'm used to plug welding with. It looks too like you welded the bottom edge from the inside rather than the outside, correct?

@Tim Holt Yes I used the holes along the top that were created from drilling out the spot welds. They were a bit larger but the new metal could handle the heat. And I welded from the inside along the bottom because I wanted a flat surface to weld the outer sill to. Not sure that would have been a big issue though. It was a bit challenging to get to some of those spots from the inside.
