This video makes a great case for side curtains... I am still trying to get my door to close evenly. It's sticking out at the rear (it does contact the laches but does not sit flush). Maybe weld doors in and make entry a bit more "athletic"...

Nice work. I plan to do the doors off the car and hang the completed assemblies. I think it will be easier than trying to fight gravity.I don't see that you installed the bottom stops and felt pads. Did I just miss that part?

Yes, i did fit those although it may have not made the video. got some nice ashley hinton stainless steel ones off of ebay that fitted just nicely. thanks for the feedback

It would be nice to show all tools needed for this job. Confusing switching from right to left door. Missing is showing door capping being fitted, door locks being installed and rubber and felt seals being installed with the special tool. Moving the camera around is annoying, a full shot of total door and zooming in and out as needed would be better. It is by far the best video available, but room for improvement . The door glass seals - you mention a hacksaw tool but don't show or explain this - I can find no information or videos of fitting the door glass seals. Anything in your footage edits that can show this ooperation would be welcome. Thank you for an otherwise excellent video explaining the sequences

Basically I didn’t want to pay £15 for the proper tool to fit these clips so decided to make one. The problem is it needs to be thin hard steel that won’t bend. A hacksaw blade is perfect but you need to heat up the end to be able to bend it round on itself to hold the clip. You have to tape up the other end of the blade where your hand goes so you don’t cut your hands to bits. Can’t add a pic unfortunately but if you look at the proper tool you can buy you’ll get the idea
