MG MS-06F Zaku Minelayer - UNBOXING and Review!

I literally said "HOLY SHIT, ZAKU MINELAYER!?" when I saw this on my feed. It really needs a reissue badly and also the box art is actually the original 1/144 Zaku Minelayer kit's box art in another perspective as the other Zaku behind it is from the exact old box art which is a very nice nod.

Pilot enters through the left hatch and then the seat slides to the right which is where the cockpit/control panel sits

In general, more Origin design need MG kits. It's crazy that the granddaddy is the only MS from that series that got an MG. The Origin redesigns are so good!

11:03 canonically the side the cockpit is on is so inconsistent that they genuinely just gave you both It also goes in the middle sometimes and opens like the thunderbolt psycho zaku ver ka

Bandai needs to reprint this kit and the space type zaku 2! It's super annoying that all they reprint is char and none of the other zaku kits get love and I would love to see a reprint of the johnny ridden zaku

It's so weird that bandai refuses to reprint any Zaku MG that isn't Char's. I grabbed a Mine Layer like 5 years ago and havent seen it reprinted since.

A 5-7 year reprint cycle is not uncommon at all from what I've seen.

My favourite MG Zaku variant would be the MS-06R1A High Mobility Type Zaku Black Tri Stars Custom and MS-06R2 Zaku High Mobility Type Johnny Ridden Custom mostly because of its Leg Armor. Sure the pipes are a pain to build but overall they are cool looking and amazing.

Zaku II MG Minelayer is a regular release but since they don't reissue nowadays, they got the pricing almost near as a pbandai ace pilot zaku II MG 2.0. I wish they got gouf custom 2.0, Zaku II MG 3.0 (origins panel lines if people don't want to add or use resin kits), Zaku III MG.

No mold is 'discontinued', more so Bandai has a stricter reprint schedule and that unfortunately means the more popular, mainline Gundam MGs will have priority in being reprinted. Heck, we still get kits from the 80s reprinted every so often, it just takes a long time for them to get to these more niche types of grunts, which is annoying.

I've taken to using the Hi-Q pipes on all of my Zaku-II MG variants. The stock pipes just aren't worth the hassle.

I was build 2 Zaku 2.0 frame, Char's Zaku and Psycho Zaku because Bandai only reprint those 2. To be honest I like the proportion of the Psycho Zaku. Smaller head, bigger body, makes it looks so cool.

My Fav MG is the very first Zaku . that was amazing . It had a lot of optional external details for you to choose , and not to follow Instrucions . and it had a very simple version of that dumb inner frame of all the other MG's.

I built that kit back in 2008. I was in the middle of my first relationship at the time. Man that was a life time ago. I remember not liking the cabling for the head especially the cabling into the backpack also
