MG Kshatriya is an overkill & would require quite some engineering to handle the weight from the get go. As the fate of 1/100 model kits in general is grim as hell, I doubt they would have any plan on working with those big MS.

It's incredible knowing Bandai cooked so much with the MG Sinanju Stein back in 2012 and how it still holds up compared to other contemporary kits now. God I cannot even imagine what sort of madman is gonna try making their own Neo Zeong II for this… I salute them out of respect and fear.

Just a bit of an FYI, the MG Sinanju OVA still has the breakage issue on the waist peg, however if you sand it down slightly, it will not break as the friction is reduced

A Sinanju is worth building at least once for the experience. They are also HUGE. Last year I brought a 2nd hand Red Sinanju, stripped it down and painted it candy red with the Takumi Studio upgrade kit. Highly recommend it for the separated chrome gold and other visual upgrades that bring it up to current standards. There are also 3rd party kits that can give it a metal inner frame and other metal parts.

So generally speaking the MG MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) "Ver.Ka" is essentially an MG Ver 1.5 of the MG MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) from 2019. The eye sticker on this isn't too bad since it comes in a clear piece. It'd be relatively easy to paint in clear red or metallic red. Any excess can be easily cleaned or will be hidden. 9:53 Say what you want. But to me, I take that as Katoki wanting to release a _new_ version of the MG MSN-06S Sinanju; maybe even a new RG version.

Tbh, RG Sinanju 2.0 makes sense, since they've redone RX-78. As it has been already told, probably there wasn't enough experience or technology back then, but I'm sure modern RG Sinanju would be absolute banger

Aside from the color separated markings and beam axe, most of the "new" parts are just old parts reorganized to reduce the number of extra runners and waste parts. For example, the grey verniers were always grey on the NT ver (I think he used the brown by accident), but those were moved to S1 and the two duplicate h runners in gray are pulled from the set. In terms of meaningful loss- in the 2019 release you could build the original Stein Rifle, most of the shield, and the shorter fuel tanks. Also you usefully got an extra waist section that you could swap in to your original Sinanju if you had snapped the peg.

In 2011, I first assembled my Sinanju Gundam in papercraft, and now I have the real Gunpla Sinanju. Ever since I saw the Sinanju design, I fell in love with it, and I promised myself that if I ever had the opportunity to buy a Gundam, it must be the Sinanju. I also recently bought the Sinanju Stein, and I might assemble it tonight.

With regards to the premolded poseable hands, I think the mold got updated few years back; I had built, at the same time, MG Jesta and MG Jesta Cannon (to share parts) and they had different runners for the hands. The Jesta dated back to red Bandai logo on the box.

I think they introduced the two tone for these hands. First featured on the Sazabi. It came after the NU and had the zeon styled manipulators but they were much more detailed and have the two tone going on. I think you can even see it when Mecha compares the hands.

Aside from that, I think this is a good kit to buy if you never bought the first versions, they keep improving it on and on and on, also the waterslides are pretty and a good Ver Ka. needs them. Tho, personal opinion, I think the Stein looks better in White and Blue, based off what it was originally meant to be... a Nu Gundam succesor. So I kinda prefer the older color scheme.

I've got my HGUC Sinanju Stein Unicorn ver standing next to my HG-MSD Full Armor Gundam, and the size difference is comical. The Full Armor doesnt even come up to the collar, thats how different the sizes of mobile suits between 0079 and 0096 are, to say nothing of how the beam rifle along is nearly as long as the full armor is tall.

this was a massive upgrade from MG Sinanju OVA, considering the OVA version had 4 times more stickers. but we don't have new red Sinanju. so the OVA is still the best red Sinanju. kind of hope they release MG ver ka of Sazabi and Zaku. I really like villain mecha, they look so unique and distinct 😄

Correction. The Zeta Gundam Ver KA's hands are swappable style, the motion manipulator this kit is based on the 1.5 Dom from 2022.

Dom has MP2 runner hands from the Sazabi, they are more chunky than the stein hands. All steins have the same MP1 runner hands which are also found in the Nu ver ka, Jesta, rx78 3.0, Hi nu ver ka, Rx78 Origin, GM sniper II white dingo, and MGEX unicorn and MGEX strike freedom

Man, I don't know. I really want to like it, but the more I look at it during the 360 spin, the bigger my "meh" feeling is getting. Same for the NT C-Packs. about the breaking peg in the waist, if this is the one that connects the torso to the crotch well... i'm sure it's better but it's still the part that landed my sinanju OVA in the bin eventually after i cleaned it up and clear coated it wile putting it back together that peg fought me and snapped off :(

The Sazabi ver ka's rifle looks way more menacing with the rocket launcher attachment imho. paired with its bulky figure, just give it round pauldrons and it can pass off as a Space Marine

The handle on the bazooka is the exact same as the one in the Sinanju OVA. I broke it the exact same way you almost broke yours. This will end up being a replacement for that one for me.

I want either a Geara Zulu or a Rozen Zulu, with the other model being a P-Bandai version based upon the other. I think the Geara Zulu is the more logical suit to make the base MG for since it has all the color variants and the Guards versions. The fact they haven't done any of the Sleeves suits besides the Sinanju is ridiculous.

Honestly would rather have color separated eyes instead of sleeves. The sleeve design is a lot easier to paint than the eyes. Also not color separating that maroon part on the leg sucks as well. Was hoping for more than this but not really surprised. Bandai tends to get lazy with eye color separation in updates of older kits like the SEED freedom RG.
