One thing after being an auto enthusiast for so many years.... Zig wheels have always been interesting true to it's DNA... Not biased to any brand... Putting the facts to the face rather than polishing... All thro these yrs ther hav been so many new auto blogs and even more the old auto review channels feel a bit biased today... This is completely my opinion and always feel the trust when watching this channel... Moreover you cover the more practical bits of an every day driver and tech bits as well.... there are some grey areas in warranty. For eg: for every 4 fast charging or oppurtunity charging, one need to do normal ac charging which will take 7 to 13 hours. Natural degradation is not covered under warranty. The parameter is not explained.

First of all it’s beneficial in terms of maintaining it unlike sliding one which requires maintenance and attention more than any parts of car. It’s safe that people can’t pop out from it. Also it doesn’t contain linens within it so uninterrupted and big glass view so aesthetically pleasing also.

It might be a good choice for corporate executives travel within city or to bring expats from Airport to the office within city... They would love it....

This is an almost perfect ev. Battery as service works so well with swap. By giving modular batteries, can't ruleout MG's swap ambitious. But FWD doesn't work with swap. Take for eg 1000s of Nio swap stations. They are all designed for RWD vehicles. RWD would have also liberated a larger frunk. 3 row seating is a miss too. Without a spare wheel that space should have been allocated for the 3rd row occupants footwell. EV and its elimination of the gear-selector needs to be celebrated by reintroducing the good old 60/40 front row seats not a skateboard.

I just did a run to Jaipur from Noida. Had to recharge 3 times. Got only 125 km to 148 km on a charge. Very poor mileage on highway. Won’t recommend to buy. Mg showroom just washed their hands on the problem. Won’t recommend

@@krishnasahu2294 ok. The way I see it is that it costs 11 lakhs in China and 13 lakhs with battery in India. With 80% indigenous parts. Why should there be any premium at all? With the whole world turning away from BEVs, it seems very myopic to be a late adaptor and learn lessons even later. Good luck to all who buy, especially since the battery and the bms may be sourced indigenously and who hasn't heard of HV critical error these days. Mr Jindal is a shrewd businessman and he was on the carbon credits bandwagon years ago. I am merely saying that buyers have to be shrewd too.

Except for bigger size and big screen It didn't get anything right. Punch gets your 10 percent more range due to its less weight Punch si better to drive in cranked up spaces Glass roof consumes more power in hot summer Safety wise the unconventional design will get less crash rating The main purpose of buying Windsor is spacious rear passnger comfort. But the rear suspension is worst. They didn't tune it well. So a whole miss from rear side.

I own the Punch EV and it's been a fantastic experience. What it loses to Windsor in terms of Space is gained back in terms of Safety, Range, Ride quality, Footprint and Toughness to go anywhere. Ofcourse Windsor is good VFM, but horses for courses.

I have taken test Drive for both Punch and Windsor. I will tell you this, Punch is just typical average Tata car. Poor interior, horrible sitting, a lot of body roll. Where as in Windsor I got incredible comfort (I have ankylosing spondylitis, so for me sitting comfort is most important), back seats are also very comfortable, rich interior. Also they are giving lifetime warranty on battery. There is absolutely no comparison between Punch and Windsor. After taking test drive of several cars, I booked Windsor yesterday. After getting the feel of Windsor there is no way any sane person will go for Punch.
