great info, thanks Jerry. A couple of questions for you. 1 Do you need to press the isolated PARK switch (to the right of the rotating knob) before leaving the vehicle?. Is it like a Park break? Does it automatically switch off when turning the knob to Drive or reverse when starting? What is the actual operation between the rotating knob and the PARK switch? 2 When leaving the vehicle without locking via the key or handle, does the vehicle automatically switch off if it senses the key is not withing a certain proximity? 3 Is it possible to remove the centre rear headrest? It would be great if you can cover these issues in the coming videos. Thanks, Ben

Hi Ben, thanks for the comment. 1. I will do an individual video on gear, drive and park. 2. Nope. You need to lock the car otherwise it stays on. 3. Yes, all the head rests are removable.

Which MG4 model would come with a sunroof? I test drove the long range one yesterday and didn't recall there's a sunroof. Also, do you get a warning if your car key's battery is running low. Just wondering how to start the car if the car key's battery is dead... Great videos. Thank you Jerry.

MG4 doesn't have sunroof. No warning for key battery. You can start it when the key battery is flat. Check the MG4 tutorial 1 on the channel. Thanks

Ordered one but find the brake very harsh from 15minute test drive

Its one of my frustrations with the car, no on off button (particularly an off button), I find it a hassle to go through meus to get to the off button or the car is on until I get out. A double press or long press of the park button could do this maybe?

Yep, double press or long press of park button sounds like a really good idea. I love it but also doubt MG will change it.

if we just sitting inside the cars for hours without getting it ready (not applying break) but with Aircon on, will it damage anything? like 12V battery or etc

Not in my experience. Also, before the 12v battery gets too low, the vehicle will give you some warning.

Hi. Thank`s for your Tutorials. Perhaps you know something about the digital key. It dosen`t work in my car (MG4 Lux MY 2022) and my dealer is not interested to solve my problem.(I think he realy dosen`t know how it works) I can oben the car with my mobile but i cant start the car. It always says: there is no smart key detected. Thank`s and have a nice Day.

For New Zealand & Australia spec, there is no digital key function. Even if you can unlock the car with mobile App, you still need the physical car key to start the motor.

My mg hs head unit , i tried many times to log into CAN info , but i cant change any thing in CAN Info . I think engeering mode is locked and CAN info is locked . Can any body adivse mw , how to unlock engineering mode . Thanks all

Not entirely sure. You may need to get the latest software first from your dealer.
