Canada should create an immigration law that no individual granted a student visa should qualify for asylum. PERIOD. Otherwise another floodgate option will open. I never heard of any citizen known to be tortured by authorities of their country to come to Canada as a student. They genuinely leave their country and enter another as an asylum seeker. Coming in as a student and “suddenly” changing status wanting asylum as a persecuted person is suspiciously fraudulent.

I always like your content. You always go direct to the point. Sana ganito ung mga ibang may channel who gives their opinion as well. They have 15mins length of video pero ung topic na Naka lagay sa tittle nila will cover only for 3-5mins.

Common sense lang yan eh. Kung student visa ang naging application obviously they wanted to study in Canada. Kung refugee naman eh di sana from the very beginning refugee na agad ang naging application nila. Kaya nga you begin to doubt the applicant’s purpose kasi bakit pabago bago ng type of visa. Something that people should realize hindi po aanga anga ang mga immigration officers na pwede niyong loko lokohin. They are very meticulous and will scrutinize your actions & words until you show your real purpose. Kaya wag kayong magpabudol sa mga taong nagbibigay ng kung anu anong advise para lang makapag stay kayo permanently dito sa Canada. Remember walang manloloko kung walang magpapaloko. The more desperate you are, the more you’ll put yourself in trouble.

Matalino naman ang gobyerno, sana they allocate enough resources to expedite the hearing for those seeking asylum who didn’t come from country in conflict. Para hindi na ma encourage ang claim na asylum seekers.

Glad you tackled this issue. I've heard of this "compassionate ground" just recently because the applicant (ex intl student) had their children in school already. He he he....I've had students who claimed refugee status in the country, who got deported - a Hungarian lady with kids, and a single mother from St. Lucia. Consultants don't guarantee the result, they're interested in getting paid. The best optiion is to study the gov't website - some provincial sponsorships have been cut, the only option is probably express entry, Canadian experience, and do a self assessment see if you have enough points. If not, then you know the answer.

Our status here comes wirh certain previledges, not just rights. We earn those priveledges like living in 🇨🇦 permanently, and not demand for them like what many protesters do. Always choose to do the right thing even if it means we have to go back home. At least there is that chance to come back here or to go to other countries to work & live in. Otherwise, we'll suffer long term consequences, in 🇨🇦 and even in other counties. Don't risk being undocumented. Your life will be more complicated and you won't have that peace of mind. Nakakalungkot at nakakadismaya na maraming (not all) undocumented ganito ang mindset: Eh nandito na ko, bakit pa ako uuwi?

Base sa karanasan ko. Ang pag apply ng humanitarian ay more than 4 yers kana d2 sa Canada. Kc since 2012 pa ako d2 sa alberta. unang apply ko denied. pangalawang apply ko aprobe. na PR. lang ako noong 2019 .

Maging sa Canadian soil, na-feel pa rin nung ex-minister yung oppression and threat ng religious group. Maging ang Canadian government, hindi nila maibigay ang 100% guarantee na protection dun sa ex-minister. Try n'yo sa KZbin hanapin, may mga hinaing yung ex-minister. Duwag kasi ang Canadian goverment sa religious group dahil sa block voting, dumudumi na ang Canada, balita sa ibang Europe na ang Canada ay bagsak ang economy puro South Asian na ang laman. So basically, land of onions na, instead of pumpkins.

Unfortunately may mga vlogs sa youtube na pinepresent ang mga loopholes. Matagal na rin ginagamit ang refugee claim. Meron akong alam na pinoy na expired na ang visa nila at sinabi niya, mag aapply daw sila ng refugee claim, this was decades ago. Medyo nagulat din ako, this was an advice of an immigration consultant (most likely). Kaya tactic din yan as last resort and desperate people.

I am expecting people who want to study in Canada to be able to afford the expenses without working here. Otherwise, they can apply for scholarships before arriving in Canada. Some of them are going to food banks. What happened to the money that they brought as their "spending" money? Talaga bang show money lang talaga? Tapos, they are enrolling in fly by nights school.

The best way return to your home country but if you are also in canada check your budget how long can you endure your spending money without income to hv a job as long as you have plenty of money you can wait and see with pending indefinite no legal status

Hindi naman pwede mag claim ng Asylum or refugee ang Philippines dahil wala tayong fear religious persecution or wars. Tiyak yan misrepresentation

All nationality can be a visitor in canada but not all can live in canada especially this time canada becoming unwelcome for foreigner applying for pr if it is not your destiny pr cannot be approve it is like of all of your classmate not all can be a president in a given country think positive but be prepare if turn negative not all have same fate in life

May nakasabay kami na pumunta dito year 2016. They said na walang marriage for same-sex marriage sa Pinas kaya nag-apply sa Canada. They got PR.
