Matagal na yang 16 sila mismo panay bangit niyan paulit ulit, but someone need to do the right thing and be morally right. 18 parin naman may special case lang yung 16 na need to count to 3 to be justified. Tapos 12 yung pinaguusapan sa PDF pero sinigit lng dun . Di naman interesado si piskal sa 12 so baket niya ni pinpoint sasarili niya. Misleading na argument yun to stir away yung mga judge dun sa debate.

16 years and younger, to me, are still children. Ok sa batas na pwede sila sa consensual sex assuming no laws are violated, Pero what about yung parents nila na support pa sa kanila at nakatira sa poder nila. What if the parents are OFWs na nagpapadala ng pera? Assuming na ok sa parent, can these kids support their possible pregnancies? Yung magulang din ang mag support diyan, plus the kids will have learned a painful lesson. Some of these stories do end up ok, Pero if you ask those young parents they almost always say the same thing -- mag aral muna, mahirap maging batang magulang and then they try to get back up thru educating themselves or having to work to support their kids. Nothing wrong with supporting their kid, as they should, but some of them regret the times lost because they could have prepared better. Just my opinion.

Atty Libayan, Congratulations! As a practicing Christian, I am happy to hear you protect minors, "our children." I was surprised that Sen. Hontiveros (who herself said she is the guardian of women and children) consented and even sponsored that bill and turned it into law. It was a lousy signal given to our minors - that they can now be engaged in sexual acts as they reach 16 years old, thereby increasing the occurrence of minor pregnancy. It is unfortunate that it echoes all over that our children were given that mantle of authority to embark on something beyond the morally right with a sound mind. Maturity? Would a 16-year-old be ready to be emotionally mature - what will happen to them if they get pregnant? Now, the support will be a burden to their parents. What a law!!!

Wag ka nlng pumatol sa kanila atty. Kac hindi worth it ,,wala kang laban sa mga ganyan klaseng tao na ugaling kalye masyado hahaha,,mahhawa ka lng sa kanila. Ika nga choose ur battle...opinyon ko lng po eto :) Obvious namn kac na sinasagot ka lng ng pabalang & pinipikon ka lng nla pra patulan mo cla ..ikaw seryoso tpos ung kausap mo tinitrip ka lng..kya di tlga worth it,,sayang lng oras mo sa kanila,,ung mga taong naniniwala s knla e mga kgaya lang din nla :)
