The "Trash catalogue" is the best item because you can now trash your farm to make it look like a run-down farm. You can get this item from trash cans.

For mushroom logs, mystic trees with moss on them produce the most purple mushrooms with the highest quality. The mushroom log checks an area of 7x7 tiles around the log for trees.

If you leave a truffle on your farm unharvested, you have a chance for a crab to "infest" the truffle (similar to rock crabs) killing this crab usually drops 3 truffles and can drop an additional crab, as well as (very rarely) truffle oil (with burglar's ring on). Seems only one crab can spawn each time though... but it's consistent enough in my testing.

I actually appreciate this list. I wasn't quite sure how to make use of the new Mushroom Logs, but now I know I can stick them in between the trees of the tapper farm I set up at the train station.

I wouldn’t say 1.6 is bigger. 1.5 had the same similar amounts of new items, weapons, etc. but 1.5 also added a new area, I gigantic one at that.

One thing that really bugs me about the "if Pam is off duty, you can drive the bus!" feature is that, if we can drive the bus while she's gone why can't we just always drive the bus? It makes no sense really.

I agree and I was thinking if it’s a lucky day and you need to use the bus to get to desert, it would be better if she wasn’t working so you would drive asap rather than 10am. I would be hoping for a no Pam day

It's cheaper than most books and helps you gauge the value of your products much more effectively than the new collections feature that shows only the base price. I use this trick on days when I need a quick cash grab and sell directly at Pierre's or Willy's.

Mushroom logs are interesting.. They open up for us to go to another type of farm cave and get mushrooms this way.. If you place mushroom logs in between mystic trees, it almost always produces purple mushrooms, dont know the chance percentage of that. But if i place 4, two of them guaranteed gives me purple mushroom. . Also didn't knew those tree can be tapped and gives fiddlehead ferns, thanks..

I would add, that using mini forge is nice way to upgrade tools from home, without going to Ginger Island. If enchantment roll wrong, you can always quit without saving and start again with different combination, just by your bed.

For the fern tree, you can dig out the seed if it's not the one that grows into that specific tree and replant it until it's right. It's the one that's green btw.

About the new mysteries, today I saw a big rat and mouse creature that I haven't seen before in the game, I wonder if you can research about it and what kind of easteregg it is, I saw it at the bus stop on my way to town, just like how we got the magnifying glass item in winter the first year. As soon as it saw me it ran away and I chased after it but there was no sign of it.

how did you get trees to spout so close to each other? i thought they needed every tile touching them to not have a mature tree in order for them to fully mature? maybe the fern tree is different?

That's only true for the fruit trees you buy at Pierre's (and the two you obtain on Ginger Island). It's always been an option to plant oak/maple/pine/hardwood as close to other things as you wish.

you're 100% wrong. go try and plant a maple, pine, oak, mahogany directy next to another fully grown tree. it will never reach full size. in this clip he has multiple fiddlehead trees next to eachother, or maybe it just llooks that way.

Best tip I found is upgrading your inventory by buying a backpack from Pierre’s store and when you come back later you can buy even bigger backpack for 36 slot inventory I just started btw I’m sure most of you knew this

I really want a better way of sowing, maybe there is one but it's locked behind end game content, which is quite silly, it ought to be available mid-game instead. I also feel a bit overwhelmed now, like there is too much to do and the days goes by so quickly. I would also have liked to see the kids being made more meaningful. But y'know, small gripes for so much free content.
