MGB Door Gapping

This video is a brief How-To Guide on how to achieve great door gaps with the doors of an MGB GT.
This is a method I have used for a number of years on a manner of different cars from MG's to E-types. It always gets the results I desire, I hope this video gives an insight on what goes into getting these cars looking as they should do.

Hi tony great job I’m been watching your u tube channel I’m rebuilding 1965 roadster I have replaced both quarters both outer sills and rear panel between quarters and new front wings having bit trouble with enough door gab all round do you no the measurement between top of the quarter and the panel where it meets the front wing which the trim bolts to it just above the dash board also if you look from back to front along the chrome side trim line seem to go straight until it gets to the front wing at the door where it meets the wing seem to change angle tends to run upwards just wondering if you have any suggestions thanks Peter from (Australia)

Shoot…. When the time comes to paint mine I usually paint the doors off the Car… but you have totally changed my mind. It’s just a lot easier to paint inside the fender and all around and under the Door with them off. But, you really Mede sense. Thanks.
