MGB Leaf spring removal

This operation is pretty straightforward, although very fiddly. Here is how to go about it! As the saying goes: "Installation is the reversal of removal". You will find out that it is a hassle as well. Patience is key, here.

I'm looking at adding coilovers as my rear shocks. How many leafs of the leaf springs do I need to use to keep the rear axle in place? thank you Bob

Hi Bob. That is an excellent question, to which I don't have the answer, I'm afraid. I also had no idea coil-overs were actually an option... I know that you can replace the lever dampers by telescopic ones, but I have never heard of coil overs on an MG B.
