No matter how careful I am, I frequently wind up re-doing a lot of these things as well. The upside is by the time I do it, undo it and re-do it, I feel like I have a really good understanding of the process. The "door guts" are another least favorite part of these cars for me. On those early pull handle cars it's hard to get the handle to stay closed going around a curve.😂 I use a shower curtain to make my own vapor barriers under the door cards because they're cheap and they already have anti-microbial stuff made into the plastic which cuts down on mold when you drive in the rain. Great video, thanks for posting!👍

Thank you for your comment. I LOVE THE SHOWER CURTAIN THING!! It is going to be interesting watching me try to put this back together after paint someday. Also, I think I may have to have a custom interior made because I can not find a Navy (ish) Blue interior with Light Blue piping offered for sale anywhere. Next I will tackle the Dashboard. It is a mess. Thanks, Cheers, Bob

Might be worth showing people how to undo tight screws and nuts using a manual hand impact driver that you hit with a hammer.

Great Idea! I just happen to have one of those. I bought it about 30 years ago to get the doors off my 1967 Austin Healy 3000. They are big Phillips screws and the impact driver did the job. I will find a way to work it into an upcoming video. Thank you so much for the comment and the suggestion. Cheers, Bob Ps. came across another barn find....stay tuned.
