mgb shifter trouble

mgb can't be put into reverse without slamming the shifter

Actually, per John Twist of University Motors that is normal, slapping it into reverse. Mr Twist is a MG Guru.

There's a huge spring for reverse. It's supposed to be hard

mine is the same way, you have to like slap it in to reverse

This guy obviously knows more about how to make a video than he does putting an MG in reverse. "The slap" is normal. 😅
