I don't even play this - i am just coming in to mention how GOOD and sincere a GBA emulator installation guide is actually THIS GOOD. Short, direct and very clear to the point. My guy if you see this i downloaded and installed the emulator fully thanks to you and FIRST GAME i'm playing is Pokemon Emerald. (Big cheers to the music edited into the video it is VERY well placed!

The amount of other people I've seen setting up emulators just to play emerald again I think is truly a testament to how frickin good of a game it truly was/is. It was a game that defined the GBA and I think is the absolute peak of pokemon game design. Just a phenomenal game that raised me on road trips and on the school bus. It's awesome to be able to play it once more.

Just wanted to warning some users, because if you activate open gl with max upscale (to your screen) and activate a demanding shader like xbrz, the gpu usage somehow would skyrocket to even more of the damn switch emulator. If youre gonna use a shader, then stick with the software renderer, it doesnt even make a quality difference and you would gonna save a lot of performance issues.

Hi, just got this a few weeks ago. Is there a way to adjust game speed? I did assign a key to fast forward but, it goes wayyy to fast lol. I tried to hotkey speed x5 to a button and it has no effect. Who made this? Kudos to them!!!

how do you set the rewind number to higher than 3 digits? it won't let me type more than 999 in the setting box. also, is there a way to just hold down the rewind button so that it keeps rewinding until you want to stop?

use the fps target menu. Choose 240 fps to BOOST UR FPS AND MAKE THE GAME SPEED UP. EZ

noob question, do these kinds of emulators also accept ROM hacks? (PKMN BlazeBlack for example?) And secondly, where do I download both game ROMs and ROM hacks? I the site I used to use was down last I checked

Pokecommunity, Relic Castle, and Poke-harbor. There's a difference between "fan games" and rom hacks. Rom hacks are NDS, 3DS, GBA, or GBC relatively. Most use GBA or NDS/3DS format. GBA being most popularly FR/LG, EM/RB/SP, etc. (Fire Red Leaf Green, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire). Fan games however are in completely different format being in their own launchers/applications/.exe's

Don't know if you've fixed it yet, but trying using the wired usb connection. The wireless bluetooth feature can be a bit temperamental. Wired is generally the best option for performance.

When you right click there should be an option at the bottom that says "more options" then 7-Zip option should pop up. Had the same problem hope this helps.

Copy them over to a folder in the Linux OS, it can't call up files from the Chrome OS.

Make a folder specifically for ROMs and ISOs. Transfer them to the folder before you extract them. Haven't had a problem that way.
