You think it's possible to remove the bell from an good drone? (I have some metal paricles on the magnets)
@sciencebygabrawy2 ай бұрын
Yes, you can and that might be the only way to remove the metal bits. Now, that bell is really tight on there and it’s supposed to be because it’s held in place by friction. Pull straight up. Don’t wiggle back and forth. Just one straight motion. Then use tweezers or even putty to remove the particles. There’s a small chance that compressed air could knock of the metal bits without taking anything apart. Let us know what you end up doing! Good luck!

What keeps the bell attached? Would friction on the permanent magnets not prevent the bell from spinning? Or is it friction between the shaft and the bell??
@sciencebygabrawyАй бұрын
It’s the friction between the shaft and the bell that keeps the bell on. It’s really, really tight. The permanent magnets never touch the magnets on the bell but I suppose the magnetic attraction does help keep the bell in place a bit as well.

You can get a new bell for 14 bucks.

Does this come off the same as a mini 3 pro? I’ve damaged the screw shaft trying to remove a rounded screw. I’m hoping I can just replace the motor housing by taking it off like in this video
@sciencebygabrawy8 күн бұрын
Yes! It comes off the exact same way and the parts are readily available! Good luck!

Hey while changing my propellers my screw broke and is now stuck. What do I do?

pudiste solucionarlo, que paso?

I’ll tell you but please use ultimate caution and precision. Use the smallest finest punch and punch a dent in the center. Drill with the absolute skinniest drill bit you can find down as far as the screw goes. Drop a drop off lithium grease to loosen. Put the punch back in and gently wiggle it out. Good luck.

A bird attacked my drone it fell and the motor is not rotating what should I do

Maybe try to blow compressed air if you think dirt or sand got in the motor. Is there power going to it at all? Do you feel it moving a little or no motion at all?

Meu amigo, sinto muito, mas não falo português. Caiu na areia? Ar comprimido funciona para isso

I don't know how you did that because it's impossible to get those screws loose
@sciencebygabrawyКүн бұрын
If you’re using the correct size Phillips screwdriver, and the head isn’t stripped, then maybe they just overtightened the screws in which case maybe just drop a drop of lithium grease or WD-40 and see between the threads. That’s just very strange to me but I can’t think of any other reason that the screws won’t come out.
@michalralu2 ай бұрын
Why is there so much slack? has the thread worn out?
@sciencebygabrawy2 ай бұрын
Yep, gotta be from too many collisions. The motor bell cogs are just soft aluminum.
