When I first got into dubstep I wanted tons of bass but after listening to thousands of different mixes I learned that some times people are in a chill mood and make mixes bass on their feelings and some times I want to listen to dubstep without a ton of bass. I'm not saying either of you are wrong. I just wanted to share my opinion to try to help.

@ian35yo wrong dubstep originated from modern drum and bass and breakbeat dubstep started in 1998 in uk thus the reason its ukfdubstep and drumnbass thats where everything comes from but techno started in detroit and north amercan cities in raves and such in the 1980s
