Like if you look at the list, Tame Impala and MGMT basically brought psychedelic music back into the mainstream, as well as greatly influencing rap, M.I.A. made one of the biggest songs of the century that lead in part to more lowkey pop-musicians like Lorde, Lana Del Rey, and Billie Eilish, and James Blake revolutionized modern electronic music and dropped a debut album that inspired so many other artists in the same field as him, as well as a bunch of mainstream production (going back to Billie Eilish). Jon Bellion makes really good music, don't get me wrong, but he hasn't really influenced the pop field apart from a few people like AJR
