One of the things that i didn't like about The Phantom Pain is the fact that we have literally nothing to do in Mother Base, all we can do is watch Quiet, the animals and practice our shooting skills, they could have made mini boss fights like the one with Eli, like a tranq. sniper battle with Quiet, some CQC training with the staff where they all form a circle and you fight like 10 of them or even a revolver stand off with Ocelot like the one we had on MGS3, we could even play hide and seek with D-Dog where we would hide and he would try to find us, not only it would make we appreciate the characters more but the game would be much better especially in chapter 2.

And each one can train your senses too! Quiet: Trains second thoughts and aim CQC Training: Fight-or-flight reflexes and muscle reflexes Ocelot: Aim and reflex shooting D-Dog: Trains FOB infiltration/sneaking skills

@@JerkInci Exactly, it would all be a form of training, at the end of them we could even get some form of bonus. Like when beating Ocelot for the first time we could unlock that revolver that he uses in MGS3 when he finds Snake and Eva for the first time, the staff one would boost the moral of them, our relationship points with D-Dog and Quiet would increase and we could get a new sniper from her, a skin for one we already have or a new skin for her, like a Diamond Dogs one y'know? One for D-Dog would be cool too.

Fun fact about Ultra Vox, the lead singer is Midge Ure, also the guy who sings this version of the man who sold the world. This makes midge the only one to have two songs in game. But theres more, Midge ure is a reverse of his real name, Jim (james) Ure. And to add more to the metal gearception, as we know the man who sold the world is orignally sung by david bowie, but kojima specifically chose this version. This is why "the man who sold the world" by midge ure is perfect for the ending twist reveal.

@GeorgeSalonikh Damn man. Stockholm syndrome for me honestly. I got so used to the batshit scenarios ever since mgs2 that it was par for the course for me. Hell, i kinda expected a huge ass, off the wall twist my first go around. Sucks we never got chapter 3 to really hammer it home but thats how it goes.
