As beautiful as it looks, I wish there was a option to remove the AA Refuel Probe. As it stands there's no air to air refueling and it's cosmetic at best right now.

I genuinely love your helicopter reviews. Both historic aspect and functionalities of a machine. Nobody even comes close to that in the community besides maybe Tims Variety. I loved the random gameplay section back in the Z-19 video, maybe it would be nice to make that kinda stuff into content too?

Even though they added the guns to this chopper they are still borderline useless because they didn't bother giving them the option to adjust gun convergence. Needless to say but the guns are currently shooting WIDE thanks to the distance between pylons. I've going the best way to use them is just one on one side. But when this gets fixed i assure you the two LR30 cannons will absolutely shred everything

Fun fact. These things can do a barrel roll with a full load of Soldiers. Got to ride in one when the Infantry unit I was assigned to was doing a ruckmarch. We stopped in a field with grass taller than your head and were told to lay back and wait. about 10 minutes later we hear these things coming. They land in a clearing and we're told "Let's go! get on!" so one Squad hops on one and the other hops on the second. We take off and just cruise around. Then we hear "Want to see something cool? Look out the left side" So I look and the other Blackhawk gains altitude while rolling right, ours rolls on it's side and I can see the other is upside down directly above us. Ours levels out and the other continues rolling and moving until it is on our right side with rotors on top again. Was the wildest stuff I've ever seen. Also not sure if I'm supposed to talk about it. I doubt Apache and Blackhawk doing aerobatics is classified or anything. Seems like common knowledge.

What’s the best way to grind helis. Every time I play heli pve I get sad at spending 2 hours and only getting 20k after being at the top of the team

You can also use ground realistic or ground simulator battles as well you can use boosters you receive everyday alongside assault ground/air arcade game modes. Atleast thats how i play helis now

Yea... my god i trued to record videos for the T129 helicopter and it took me 16 minutes for a simple assault and defence. It was horrible. I will give feedback on it for gaijin... its been getting worse and worse day after day...

If would be neat if it had the door gunner mini guns. They're only 7.62, but if they had AI like bomber gunners it would be great plane deterrent. And maybe decent in rocket rushes

i love how gaijin just keeps on not giving the American helis stuff they deserved. fire and forgets with the hellfire L's (2 minor and 1 major nations have it already), guns on the blackhawk (almost all heli have it already) and hellfire K's on the ah-1z (almost all apaches have it already) :)

it sucks that gajin wont give the Blackhawk its full armament since it could carry 30mm gun pods and have either 7.62 minigun door guns or .50 cal door guns that could lock forward for pilot use

Well... you play it alot because tou have proper lineups , i dont play it cuz i dont have the proper lineups for it, the reason why i include ground RB is because in some helis you can do more than simple rocket rushing and lobbing ATGMS(z19 being the prime example). Ground RB is one of the modes that you can play helis in , the other one is heli PVE, which i know how to play with.

1:48 You're telling me that crazy stealth Black Hawk I got in GTA V Online was a REAL helicopter?!?! How did I never hear about that thing?! I thought it was just some custom thing they threw together like some of the other military choppers throughout Grand Theft Auto. I love the Black Hawk so much. As a kid in the 90s, I loved playing the Delta Force PC games, and you'd usually be dropped off or picked up in a Black Hawk, so I grew to enjoy the beautiful sight of that sleek frame coming over the horizon, letting loose with miniguns on either side. Delta Force: Black Hawk Down (obviously) was the epitome of this, and it's a huge reason why I'm still in love with it today. So glad to finally see her in War Thunder!

oh yea! since they made stealth technology with the F-117 night hawk (and some shenanigans with AGS program and some fiddling with some stealth battleships) the helicopter department was not escaped from the trend either. we had the RAH66 comanche ofcrouse, and then we got this. yes a stealth blackhawk, and the pics have been declassified recently, and gotta love how GTA now has made a parody of that aswell xD. i absolutely understand your love for the black hawk, its one of the most iconic helis in the world along side the apache, but the Blackhawk was more used as the workhorse of the USArmy,(and Marines Too? or was it navy?) its really cool to have alot of games where you can see the black hawk... absolutely incredible. im also happy that the longawaited black hawk is in the game too... i hope u enjoy grinding it! like i did with the apache man!!! o7

@@Bob_Dickinson Okay, that one you posted there looks a lot more like the one in GTA. Cleaner design, less cobbled together. Not exact, the engine section is different, but the rest is spot on. Amazing, and honestly very pretty as well. I like it! But yeah, the Black Hawk is iconic for a reason. Not just a workhorse for just about every branch of the US military (and even civil applications), but also in many militaries around the world. Israel, Japan, Taiwan, Australia... there's like twenty countries with it in service. Sadly, I won't be playing it. I'm hopelessly far away from grinding helicopter trees, having barely stepped into the Italian one, my main nation. It's nice to look at though!

Israel should not get this helicopter because the DAP variant was designed and is used by US Special Operations only. That is why they removed it after initially stating it would be shared.
