Great info capt lee, especially needed help with epoxy tips and tricks! I am finishing a casting rod for my son-in-law as I type. I think the heat and humidity is killing me! I live in keys, and my work bench is downstairs (stilt house) with no ac. Even though I am using aluminum trays, I swear my epoxy was kicking off in 10 minutes, making push work too quickly, and make multiple small batches. Using pro koat How is it that heat will thin epoxy, but also kick it t off faster? Weird Thanks again for the detailed videos and instructions!

Great instruction. How do you get away with using heat and not peeling up your decals? I use color preserver over the edges of the decal but would like to get away from that practice if possible. Thank you again!

You have to make sure you have good contact with the blank at the edges, use a burnishing tool on the label very lightly to achieve this. And I don't use much heat which is why I have my hand behind the blank while I'm applying heat.

Have you ever put a color in the epoxy? If so, how did it come out?

What tape do you use with the Eason label maker? Appreciate your videos, they are very helpful.

I use Epson tapes, 1/2 wide. Black, white, or gold on clear.

Has anyone figured out a way to add a forend to an Aero real seat and still be able to take the real on and off?

Or you could add a small spacer or trim ring between the reel seat and fore grip.
