I've been watching youtube doll videos for the past ten years, hoping to get my own channel up and running at some point. I felt intimidated because these artists had so many subscribers! Lately, KZbin has recommended more of you really great artists that, while having less subscribers, are just as good if not better than some of the more popular channels. The algorithm is a little funny like that. Remember everyone started with a small amount of subscribers - even at the beginning of the year I think I had less than 200! I hope it helps motivate you to take the leap - growth can be extremely slow but as long as you love what you do, the metrics take a bit of a backseat.
