@Taramarcaz David 3600 is far to much damage. I think you also have to consider the monster defense, otherwise the Jho would die after only 3 times of sleepbombing. But youre right it is more effective anyway than those GS hits. 3600 x 0,65 = 2340

***** Tested it with our team and youre right. It seems like that only one of those 8 BB+ gets the x3 boost. So its 7 BB+ + 1 BB+ x3 = 10 BB+ 10 x 150 = 1500 x 0,65 = 975 Our Savage Jho wasnt even capready after we released all Bombs.

It's interesting to note that even though the Greatsword Charge would get the bonus and not the bombs, you can still net more damage on wakeup by detonating with a reasonably strong Greatsword than an SBB. As long as your expected damage is more than 300 * rank defense, anyway. (8 * 150 = 1200, you do 1500 with a wakeup LBB+ and 7 additional LBB+). I don't recommend trying that with Heroics and Fortify, unless it's possible to roll through the bomb explosions with Evasion+3.

Is it faster (less sleeps) with only sleepbomb? I think so, because large barrel bomb+ did 150 true damages (directly on the health if i'm right) the sleep get the damages x3 for explosions, so 450 by bombs. 2 bombs by player and 4 players. 8 bombs, 8 x 450 = 3600 and your GS does 1609. So if I'm right when calculatihg bombs, it would be a lot less times to asleep this Jho. Can you try? or reply me if it's true?

Good work, the ways to get sleepyfish in this game are really annoying. Wish we could get wyporium or granny in a near future. Are elemental gunning are nerfed in 4u, besides dragon S? we need more skills and the overall damage seems worse than 3u.

andres felipe sadly wyvernfire damage is divided into several shots when fired, so only the first blast got the sleep multiplier damage while the rest of the blast do normal damage.

I'm unsure if someone else has denoted this already, but you were really swinging for the fences there! In fact, based on the damage info you showed, I don't think you were calculating the excess sharpness multipliers the GS get for charge attacks or it's Sweetspot damage (though I'm not sure if you were treated as connecting with the center of the blade in any of this demonstration) and then apparently there is also an additional sharpness modifier for receiving a hit from Demon Shot. Ich würde gerne (egal auf welcher Weise ihr es wollt) einen Hunting Horn Speedrun sehen ^^. Hätte sogar Sets bereit gestellt, meine Überlegung wäre das Akantor Hunting Horn. Klar, es kriegt nicht den Lila-Multiplikator, hat aber enorm hohen Raw-Wert und noch 40% Affinität, als Set hätte ich auch einen Vorschlag: Honed Blade Adrenaline+2 Weakness Exploit Challenger+2 Horn Maestro Ich würde das eher bei einem Solo oder Duo-Run nutzen, aber ich würde allgemein gerne sehen, ob das Aka HH besser ist als die Reliktwaffen, die ja relativ hohen Raw ebenfalls haben, aber das Aka doch nochmal mehr und die Affinität ^^. Problem wäre nur, dass das Aka HH kein AuL in den Noten hat :(. Ich würde gerne allgemein eure Meinung zu dem Aka HH hören und wenn es geht wäre das mein Vorschlag :).

Naja, wenn man keine negative Affinität haben will ist mit extreme Verbesserung das Aka HH dem Relikt um ca 270 raw vorraus (sind ca so 20 true Attack, schätze ich) und hat dann immernoch den Affinitätsmultiplikator ^^. Mit Adrenalin usw. und den weiteren Faktoren wird der Unterschied dann eig. deutlich größer und wenn man es dann so betrachtet, hat man zwar einen Multiplikator weniger, aber die anderen machen den Abstand so groß zwischen den beiden, müsste man jetzt nur ausrechnen und wirkliche Lust darauf hab ich ehrlich gesagt nicht. :D

"The motion value for a GS charge slash is not just 1.1x It's actually 1.43x because the charge slash gets a second bonus multiplier. Great Swords also get another multiplier for hitting in the middle of the blade, that's 1.05x. And purple sharpness is 1.44, not 1.45. Furthermore There's a damage multiplier for being inside of a pitfall trap, as well, 1.1 I think. And the defense modifier for event quests is not always the same as in other G rank quests. Also "the elemental damage wasn't relevant" 17 damage is 17 damage man." A friend re did your work.

I tried to get some information in the german MH forum, but it seems like that wasnt enough. What do you mean with, that a friend of yours has redone my work? Do you just mean the calculation or the whole quest? What I dont get is, why does a Lv 3 Charge get an extra multiplier. Some people said thats an additional sharpness multiplier, but in the calculation it doesnt matter where you add this value. Some persons also told me about the Pitfall multiplier, but I couldnt believe that, because I wasnt able to find any sources which prove that fact. Do you have any sources? Im also not sure about the sharpness multiplier. Mh Wiki says it is 1.45, while Gamefaqs says 1.44 So how can you be sure 1.45 is correct? I knew that the defense modifier is not always the same for GR quests. I just took the lowest multiplier here, because it is a G3 quest. The last sentence wasnt wrong. What I meant is that the number of necessary hits wouldnt be changed by the elemental damage. Thanks for you commentary anyway. I think this should bring me a bit closer to get the right result. :-)

i find SnS bombing fun maybe you guys could do sumin like that. I use the spider sns with a mixed set so i get status +2, trapmaster, bombardier, speed sharpen + evasion you guys could probs get an even better set then i can atm

fkylw Gunner armor is vastly weaker than blade master armor. It would make sense for a gunner to die faster, in my experience (Not that I have much with gunning) is that gunning armor has about .5 or less raw defense than blade master armor.
