TURBODERP I checked the video for the same reason. Seems like the raging brachy is going to bring a lot of difference than this one. This one looks brachy that has occasional explosions in his arms here and there.

Basically, when the slime glows red, the next impact on that area will cause a retaliatory explosion after like a second. New Raging Brachy will instead drop slime when attacked which will explode after a short period.

What the hell, why do you get all the stoned monsters? He sat there for most of the fight contemplating the meaning of life. My Braccy had already carted me twice before my load screen was finished then followed me back to town and carted me another six times before leaving for lunch.

Yeah I get that, it is something everyone who plays Monster Hunter has to learn to do. What I am asking is why does it seem like most of the monsters you fight, have monster weakener x10 on them. It has nothing to do with how you play. Friends and I watch your vids and we would kill to have monsters that are as calm as yours. This Braccy looked straight up drugged compared to the ones we have had to face. Even evading and attacking at openings, I have never had a Braccy that attacks as slow and as little as yours did here. If you are using monster weakener or anything else that is nerfing the monsters abilities it would be nice if you said as much.

The only thing Weakener does is to exclude the possiblity of having a monster with higher HP. That being said, I always show my status screen after the hunt, as as you can see, I only got Polisher as a food skill. Most of the time, it's not really the monster being calm, it's just me anticipating the attacks and acting accordingly to avoid getting hit by those before they become dangerous in the first place.

Hey Canta, Big fan of urs and u inspired me to hunt better and eventually get my own capture 3ds. Anyways, This is a broad question so if u wanna give a limited answer I understand. When recording MH, what's ur optimal setup? For example like recording program; fraps, camtasia? etc; and what settings do u tinker with in the capture window, such as like the filtering or resolution to get a nice picture like the one u do. Again broad question but I was just curious.

+Henry Flores For Recording, I just use the 3DS capture software that came with the capture card (I'm using loopy's capture card, Katsukity's capture software doesn't have an inherent recorder afaik). As for the video format, all I did was to change the resolution to 1280x720, 60fps and render it into .wmv

Watching this really makes me think I'm going to miss that framerate in Generations/MHX. I know they upped the particle effects and general fidelity and all, but part of me really wishes they had focused on keeping 60 fps over some of the other bells and whistles.

+Der Fuchs LP From what I understand, it doesn't. I believe they capped it at 30 because of the various particle effects related to hunter skills and things like that. It's possible I'm wrong, so don't take it as gospel, but I believe that to be the case.

I know that they decreased the field of view, maybe they did that in order to keep the FPS at 60. I really hope so. I'll start some research to find out about the framerate. I will tell you, when I finally know it. ^^

Theoretically, yes. However, given the size of Raging Brachy, it's rather hard to get the orange essence from its tail, so I'd rather not rely on having the triple buff constantly for earplugs.

It cancels the consumption animation and it knocks you down, making you temprarily invincible. If he took the max potion without the felvine bomb in the video, he would have gotten hit :)

Oh you soloed him? My first kill was after 28 min, whit Zamtrios Glaive. I was just baff, because I saw him as one of the hardest Monsters in Game. You can be proud of yourselfe by killing him, I doubt everyone can solo this Quest at all.

yep, i find that much easier. cause i don't have to deal with those exploding arms and head. and the fact that when you go on his right side he uses his right arm (so its my left) and thats just how i dodge him i usually use furia sedition (seregios hbg) so i reload when i roll then switch back to offensive then roll roll again

He looks easier because he moves slower, but at the same time you move slower as well. I have fought both old and new gen of him and I can say the old one is WAY harder
