Even tigrex hitbox is much more makes sense than those 2 monsters. I GENUINELY surprised by how accurate the hitbox in this game since most people say how bad it is (i expect something much much worse) and im a fucking 5th fleet hunter, i had no problem getting to g rank since i choose to gunned the shit out of any raths and plesi variants and use ds for the rest of the monsters. Whenever I miss old Monster Hunter... I'll remember this video, I have hundreds of hours on 4U and Generations, but when I think of the sheer tedium of gathering and eggs in the old games, it keeps me from starting an old game again. Aside from that though, the memories of hunting with friends on the 3DS are priceless

I just wish egg gathering was of some use, they made the controls and egg carry experience better but gave is no reason at all to gather eggs... Id love some interesting egg gathering quests. :(

Start a new save on citra, I promise it's not as bad as you remember and I say this as someone who went back to 4U a week ago, waaaay less tedious when you know what you're doing

I remember I had a folder with pictures of all the maps with where the gathering points were and notes of what monsters were weak to. I remember looking at a monsters armor after I first beat it cause I could look at it’s elemental resistances and negative skills to figure out what their weaknesses were. I remember fighting Kushala at the Island, rolling under him and dropping lighting rods and slapping him with my Kirin GS. I love this game so much.
