After playing 3U on the wii U, this moment in 4U felt like the moment in my Monster Hunting Career where I finally cut my teeth and found my flow in Monster Hunter. Never looked back since and have enjoyed every moment with these game since. Glad I can hunt Shaggy in Sunbreak again.

Honestly, the biggest tip for fighting zinogre is to avoid that headbutt. He will always chain it with combos...

I barely finished this quest back in the day. Didn't even use smoke bombs or any other buffs. I was down 2 deaths and minimal hp and no healing items. Magala was leaping at me and died midair to my insect.

I was forced to take on the zinogre and rajang at the same time but I actually managed to fight both of them with ease. only time I fainted was after I killed zinogre and the rajang got me stuck in a corner. the real issue though was Shagaru magala. that thing was a nightmare.

I did this quest with the (high rank) barrioth armor giving me evade +3, and with the maxed out (for high rank) nerscylla cb. I used 12 mega potions, and 7 farcasters, and still got carted once by rajang. And it took me more than half an hour. Am I terribly bad or are you terribly good ? Ps : I probably don't have a really good set. And you are speedrunning, meaning you have done this quest several times, whilst I did it once. So our runs aren't comparable at all. But still, that differance !!!

My rajang attacked very often zinogre with his Beam attack 😂

back when I did this quest, I remember that some online guide said to fight both at once and position yourself in a way that Rajang hits zinogre with his beam a lot, I stuck to this strategy and it basically defeated the zinogre for me 90% 😂

The monsters on this quest were pretty deceptive tbh. I went in blind and didn’t bring smokebombs cause I didn’t realize there would be 2 at once, but killed the jang and zinogre without carting pretty easily. They were much weaker than I expected. When shagaru spawned i was expecting the rest to be easy, but actually carted twice before i managed to kill him. He was hitting ridiculously hard lol.

I'm curious as to how you kept the Rajang from noticing you. The bloody furball goes apeshit every time I walk on the field and I end up having to fight both at once. And you should have tremor res as well, shouldn't you? His fists never staggered you. Good job either way

sry canta das ich das hier so random frage aber wieso war ich grad mit einer gewissen nadine in einem raum die die waffen: Tessen besaß und 21120 lähmschaden hatte? es war kein anzeigefehler, najarala war durchgehend gelähmt und war nach 2:02 Tod, G-rank ist das n bug oder kann man mit 3DS online hacken? habe sie danach natürlich rausgeworfen.

I actually figured out how to beat this, let the raising kill the so other then I beat raja game before shagaru Magala, I was able to beat this in 25 mins.

I know this is late, but whatever. By the end of Low Rank Caravan (6*, maybe 5*) you start to be put against High Rank monsters, albeit with Low Rank Health, and by the end of High Rank Caravan (10*) you start facing G Rank Monsters, but with High Rank Health. Of course, The Cavaneer's Challenge and the Master's Test throws this idea of balancing for the sake of one final quest.

I love this whole thing, but do you have any pointers for beating this quest with ACTUAL High-rank gear instead of G-rank stuff? I have full Najarala S armor with HG Earplugs, Recovery Speed +2, and Negate Paralysis, and I use an insect glaive too.
