6:50 As a person suffering from chronic nerve pain (to the point it’s become a disability for me) I really appreciate all might being blunt with deku in the beginning. He not only was suffering immense pain at the time but he also wanted to be realistic with the kid. I’m super sick of the ableist “you can do anything if you put your heart to it”. A lot of disabled people need aides just to function let alone chase our dreams. And I love he chose to give his aide (ofa) to deku to help him achieve his dreams while still managing to help him avoid the hurtles he faced. (That’s why they dropped the No quirkless rule, I think; was for all might) they perfectly parallel irl disabled people who keep fighting for the younger disabled generation to make it better for them. It reminds me a lot of my mom and me (she also has an autoimmune disease that she couldn’t get a diagnosis for until she was in her mid thirties)

I really hope this theory about AFO as Izuku’s dad and the fact he steal his quirk when he was born is true, that could be a very good plot twist and a way to see Izuku’s resolve when AFO revealed it (at preference in a scene like his fight with All Might in order to made the TV recorded his confession and to see how the population will react as Izuku being incidentally a traitor without his knowing as AFO’s son and the fact he was quirkless his entire childhood before he entered at UA with All Might’s quirk). It can be interesting to see if he will really continue on the heroic path after seeing how the population will react to him and his secretive and traumatic past or if he will decide to finally give up, seeing the population will probably never accepted him even if he saved them.

Honestly, I would if this theory were to be correct. Like Izuku right now in the manga is kinda going through the same situation, because the people don't want him back at UA but their reactions towards him would be double as strong if your theory actually happened.

If he isn't AFO, I would want him to be an interesting character and actually have a good reason as to why he doesn't check up on Inko or Izuku if he really is just 'abroad because of work' (I feel like if he truly was abroad he would at least check up on Inko and Izuku through a call or something, but nothing mentioned him ever checking up on them in the manga.)

The theory about AFO as Izuku's dad really gets me every time, and sometimes its funny because if you read the character information in Volume 11 Omake Inko's profile stated that Izuku's dad is abroad for his work. So yeah idk 🤷

I have a rough theory that Izuku's quirk was originally Decay but when he was around the age of one His "Father" Afo stole his quirk, and roughly around the same time he discovered Nana's family and notices Tenko around the age of 4 without any visible signs of a quirk, so I believe the man that brought Tenko home at the start of chapter 235 backstory might of been Afo who gave him the quirk decay to try and influence him to join him but it fails in a way that the quirk doesn't work with him, and when he uses a lot of power like he used against Re-destro it starts to hurt him as-well, for example Aoyama's Naval laser had an affect on him. The timelines also line up, There is a 4 year age gap between Shigiraki and Deku. currently Deku is 16 and Shigiraki is 20 so when Shigiraki is around 4 deku would be Nearly 1. (A very rough theory and I'm really tired so I know it might have some gaps in the story but yeh it's like 5 am and I will be going to sleep after commenting this)

This theory has so many plot holes that it is a bad theory. For starters, It's impossible for deku to get a quirk that isn't related to his parents quirk. Quirks can mix, Examples are like the todoroki family or Bakugou's family. Tenko shimura had a growing itch to kill, not only that but all for one only appears when the abuse/trauma is over as a way to pity/guilt trip them that's how he got touya and tenko As he said "he groomed tomura to hate all might" Also This theory doesn't make sense considering midoriya wasn't even born when tenko was 5 How the hell did midoriya's "decay" quirk get stolen when he wasn't born when tenko was 5 It just doesn't make sense?? Plus when you're like 0-1 years old you don't have a quirk developing So he's obviously not stealing a non-existant quirk from a feetus

With everything going on in the manga, I think dfo is true. But I don't think he stole Izuku quirk. Izuku doesn't act like any of the other quirkless in the show. He seems to have effect on his personality that's from his quirk (obsession with quirk, possessiveness (or maybe it's because of dfo-)) like toga and bakugo

@@Oris_Amiris if Izuku had a quirk, it'll most likely would be a mix between AFO and inko, so a long range afo. So why isn't afo using that, it's way better than his afo. Maybe because he didn't stole it and just made it seems like Izuku doesn't have a quirk. If he think that he doesn't have one and he doesn't even know his dad real quirk than how is he ever going to found out about it?
