My personal hot takes- Dante is boring AF to play. I'd rather kill things than constantly casting mid spells. Good support player Wisp- most overrated and boring frame on the list. New player friendly though. Zephyr- Niche play, only would use if buffed through weekly helminth for fun. Harrow- no but he is underrated. Octavia- best frame that I don't ever use. Credetials- 7000 hours Mr*4 played

Don't forget Mesmer Shield for Revenant. Gives him Support Frame ability, adding 5 stack of mesmer skin to any squad members in affinity range. Also, Reave will give a stack of mesmer skin to your companion. As a Rev main, I have to chuckle at the people who tell me my build is OP, then I end up in a mission with them and have to keep reviving them...

I remember when I first started playing, an Octavia was in a survival mission w/ me. It was mind-blowing. I made getting her a goal and it took me literally *years* to get all of her pieces cause I kinda suck at parkour and puzzles. Within 30 days of finally getting her built we got her Prime and DE gave us a free fully built one. Aside from that bit of irony and frustration, she is still one of my top picks.

Beginner here (just a couple dozens of hours rn) 👋 Atm I have 4 warframe slots, which are used for Mag, Banshee, Rhino and Vauban. I went for these warframes as I don't like farming, and got all of them without any, apart from a little bit for Rhino. I'm a support & CC kind of player, so I'm using Banshee more than the others. Her Silence helps me a lot when dealing with Exilus, especially the Arctic ones as the Xoris struggles to explode their bubble. In the future I'll go for more warframes, but when I'll feel the need to. As of now I'm more forcused on advancing in the Star Chart and doing the Quests 🙂

Good call buddy, take it at an exploratory pace untill you've seen most of the star chart. When you notice a grind is rough, that's where you can look into getting specialised frames to help. Don't rush, enjoy while it lasts.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Inaros. It can be built for near anything with full Umbral and Adaption on multiple configs. Could replace Desiccation with Eclipse and add Total Eclipse to help squad survive Elite Archimedea. Xata's Wisper for more damage with infinite punch through like Felarx to defeat Archons and Demolishers easier. Wrathful Advanced for melee. Many ways to experiment playing. Personally I have Golden Instinct on my first slot so I can farm Ayatan while doing dailies.

I think it's also cool to mention that some difficult warframes to get like harrow can be obtained/tested in "The Circuit" which is apart of the Duviri Paradox. That's how I got all of Octavia's components.

I run Lavos a lot for mid to high level content, and he can be a brutal weapon platform if you get your hands on Valence Formation since it both doubles your weapon damage and gives guaranteed status. And even without that augment, he's still a powerful setup nuke with Catalyze. And he's also tanky as hell with the second highest armor in the game behind Valkyr Prime, a 1 that heals him, and a passive that gives status and cc immunity upon picking up an energy orb.

Another alternative to get some normal warframes is the normal circuit. I got Harrow that way. The only problem is that you have to wait until the week that your desired frame is available.

As a Harrow main, for team play get the Tribunal augment for Condemn. It’s easy enough to get your chains out to enemies but if you are struggling for the kills for the buffs, Tribunal allows teammates to proc the energy and health benefits of his 2 and 3 as long as they kill enemies held by Condemn. Makes him much better as a support in team play.

Why is voruna slept on? Best melee frame in the game imo, can clear entire rooms and spread every status effect possible to all enemies in a set range for stripping, plus one of passives is being immune to all status effects.

If frost can make this list Chroma absolutely should, with Archon mods, his insane elemental versatility, his broken levels of buffs. People always focus on his 4th but if you subsume it off and focus on his 1-3 he becomes an unkillable juggernaut giving 15x damage to all your weapons, even more if they have multiplicative CO scaling.

most dmg type changes will be a buff except for maybe for example the change making a build more difficult to use maybe? like cold slow being annoying or something like that or the effect not being as usefull but would be rly rly interesting to check out what the changes do to every warframe maybe some builds become OP just cause of the changes XD prob gonna happen

the changes to cold damage makes me want to pull out my umbra tuned Frost Prime with max range and power. as it is I can wipe whole tiles with his 4 and his dome is practically invincible if timed right. makes it where in defense I can wait for enemies to gather, pop my dome to protect the target from incoming damage and then pop my 4 to deal massive aoe damage to all within a good range rotate a bit hit 4 again and boom wave done.

Imo, you either need wisp or citrine, but not really both. Harrow, even if really good, is not needed i think. And finally, i would argue that the most important frame would be nekros (or khora and hydroid with their augments) but yeah, you pretty much need a farming frame, and i think he is the best one and the easiest to play

With Protea I usually replace her 4 with Nidus' subsumed ability, that plus her turrets ramping up with every enemy hit, means tons of damage esp if you spam grenades!

If you want to play Dante use at least two yellow tauforged archon shards for casting speed.His animation is extremely slow.With the shards you will nuke everything super fast and you won't die when trying to refresh your overguard while a room of angry mobs hit you.

Inaros got much better after the rework. It's one of my go-to frames right now. Dessication with its augment mod which spawns sand kavats with corrosive damage, oh man. I'm able to run Steel Path missions with the setup I have.

I agree with almost all the choices. Not a really big zephyr fan but her position in the top 10 is arguable. I mained saryn for so long and recently since she could passively armor strip and nuke at the same time. Now, honestly, Frost is just simply better. Instant armor strip + overguard just makes gameplay quicker and easier

I like the list a lot, personally I'd add Vauban and Nekros. Nekros has amazing utility and great survivability, if you replace his soul punch with Gloom he is basically immortal, while having Shadows as decoys, free loot bonus and 100% AoE armor strip. As for Vauban similar to Nekros, but instead of tank he is great dps/cc. He works great with many Helminths, his 2nd ability offers great buff and one of the best dps tools in game Imo, and his 4th is amazing and insanely effective way to strip armour and lock the entire room worth of enemies at the same time.

Respect for putting Octavia on no 1 spot (that she deserved) she is actually a cheat frame, which is very rare in a live service game. And weather u like it or not, everyone is guilty of using her for easy farming. If u r a new player, use her for easy time in game or don't use her for fun time in the game (other frames do have very fun game mechanics).

Hildryn does a lot more than frames like Harrow (and most of the 57 frame roster), though. A massive range AOE defense strip, boosting allies shields, setting the entire map on fire, and having a helminth slot for roar or nourish is a really solid kit. Hildryn suffers against infested and murmur enemies with no armor which is really the only thing that sets hildryn apart from the other general use frames on this list

Mesa and saryn have built in damage reduction though bullet shield handles everything but infested and molt can keep you alive forever if you can get enough energy while its up to cast it again. If they can see the molt they will attack it over you

Mesa's Shatter Shield doesn't give you a flat DR. It only works on gunfire so it doesn't work on area damage or melee attacks.

I think that styanax and kullervo are pretty strong rn and deserve at least honorable mention. Styanax is an amazing generalist warframe that has everything you will need on missions: aoe slash procs dps, armor strip, energy and shield regen. Kullervo is not as popular among players but his damage potential, surviveability and overall kit are very solid. Kullervo can benefit a lot from playing high damage per hit weapons. With addition of tennokai he became even stronger, shreading groups of enemies with his chain damage as well as accolytes and demolists.

No rhino? It's one of the 1st frames you can farm easily. And extremely versitale. Energy nexus + nourish chaning 1st or 4th ability. Get decent duration+strength. And you are good to go, even all the way up to level cap.

I ain't gonna lie, I slept on Revenant hard. I subsumed him after I first built him, regretted it after, then got excited when I merged my old 2018 account with my current one (thank DE for Cross-Save) and found out I had a Revenant on there, too. So now I ain't getting rid of him

look i get why a lot of these are here but kullervo does stupid amounts of damage by pressing one button, can clear whole rooms by pressing two buttons, and makes pretty much every melee weapon good

I don't care how much hate she gets, how much people don't like her, I LOVE OCTAVIA!! She is my favorite warframe ever, and to see how busted she is ever since her launch to now, I am so happy to see her still dominating, I even bought her prime access, the only prime access I ever got. Not to mention, SHE CAN PLAY MEGALOVANIA!!!

@@MHBlacky_ENG I know why she is boring, but tavi is so broken and so much fun I usually never play a different frame, also I think the other reason for the hate is how much she power creeps other frames out of the game. Loki is basically useless because why play him when tavi is literally him, but end game power. Why bother with Valkyries immortality when tavi can do that better and be usable endgame

Im kinda newbie, when you showed the mod builds normal and budget ones, what do they exactly mean? Like budget one is cheaper one?

The 'budget' builds are just the weaker builds, but they use mods that are much more attainable in the early game. The 'normal' builds are better and use mods that are obtained far later into the game.

I'm into nazha. He's fast . Got good defensive ability. Maybe not high damage frame but he's fun for me. I thought zephyr was boring and fed her to the helminth.

if youre gonna show the build then you should show the helminth choice too. that mesa build is pretty much unusable unless you use nourish.
