Nice, yep that's what I'd recommend really. I'm using bow because I'm trying to use a spread of weapon types vs each monster when I can. It's not perfect since there are kinda two monster move sets for each monster, as well as the gear being different at each point of the game, but hey.

lol it's ok, also this quest is assuming you've finished the Village quests, so they can sometimes use gear that you wouldn't have been able to get yet, like the Narga weapons in the lower high rank quests and such.

Can you KO Basarios and Gravios? I tried to see their KO animation but even though I used traps and bonked the head all the time I was not able to KO Basarios in this quest.

I'm reasonably sure you can, since there are sparks when you hit their heads, but it's not super practical since you'll probably bounce off of it? I dunno. Try using ESP maybe, you should be able to KO it then.

im playing mhf1 and the issue i am having is his poisin atack is very often and im trying to use my dragon destroyer, asshole dragon keeps spamming poison and i have to keep downing pots on hr5

oof, yeah, it can be pretty difficult to deal with :( I don't know enough about F1 to say, but if you can use light or heavy bowgun or something that might help a little.

Im still searching armor set for my gunlance and lance.. Any recomendation for those. I mainly use sns, lance and gunlance. And is it worth to have gunnery king as skill for gl. Most ppl said shell is bad in g-rank. Except for fatty bros

Shelling just depends on how much damage you'd do to that part otherwise. If you deal 3x more damage than shelling to the head, that doesn't matter if you can only hit the tail, yknow? I couldn't say whether or not gunnery king is really worth it, since it depends on what you're fighting and all that. As for armor sets, well, anything that increases your guarding skill would be fine, but if you're not guarding that much or the monster doesn't have super strong attacks, Ceanataur S will carry you through high rank, assuming that's where you're at.

Yep, my go to would be bow, but I wanted to fight it using hammer because I haven't done that for this series yet. It's not quite the same as the first time you'd fight Basarios, but oh well

I just rememberer I fought basarios using sleep bombing strategy because I got felyne gunpowder. Feels like cheating :(

Nice! It's not, trust me, sleep bombing as its own skill, especially in this game since you can wake them up immediately after putting them to sleep. But the preparation and planning is pretty fun IMO and I think that's more important 😄
