The True Devil Slicer has an ATP of 816, without the 4.8x inflation, that's 170. Add in the sharpness modifier and that makes it 212.5, just taking raw into consideration.
AuL adds 20 raw to your weapon, so that gives us 190, and 237.5.
Add in Sharpness +1, bringing us to White Sharpness, and now we've gone from 212.5 (170 + blue sharpness) to 247 raw (190 + white sharpness)
An inflated value of 1,185.6
tl;dr You can go from 816 (170) to about 1,185 (247) damage with this armor set. It's pretty damn good.

One thing that I’ve noticed (and I’m not sure if you mentioned it but I’ll say it anyways) is that when shogun burrows and waits a long time before coming up, he will ALWAYS come up at a random spot, go back into the ground then come out of the ground immediately after at te exact same spot. So essentially if his first attack is very delayed you can run to the spot where he came out and attack him ASAP.

Ahhh shogun ceanetaur, this guy hits fast and because you don’t flinch that often to his attacks, you end up taking damage very quickly. I like your strategy, especially your conservative way of attacking just to spare windows of time to dodge when Ceneataur attacks

As someone who started their MH career in 4U, I kept waiting for the Spirit Roundslash that never came. Then I checked and found that it didn't get that whole gimmick until Tri. As for Shogun himself, he's gained a few new tricks in Generations and Gen Ultimate. First, he gets this extremely annoying attack where he walks forward with his claws open wide as if to hug you. For some reason, the hitbox takes up the entire space he occupies. In Low and High Rank, he always follows this with a little taunt, but he doesn't always do the taunt in G-Rank. In G-Rank he gets this move where he rubs his claws together rapidly then jumps at you, his trajectory often _curving_ to hit you. Luckily, your saying of "sometimes the best way to get away from a monster is to move toward it" applies - when you see him do the claw rubbing, prepare to roll underneath him as he jumps. And then...there's the Deviant - Rustrazor Ceanataur. It's a Shogun Ceanataur that somehow got its claws on the skull of a Glavenus, a monster that premiered in Generations noted for its FLAMING SWORD TAIL. This skull allows it to sharpen its claws, and it has become ADDICTED to this. But it also gets very good at using its water cannon. Indeed, it has two modes, depending on which skull it has on - if it has the Gravios skull, it will use a lot of water blast attacks, and when it has the Glavenus skull, it will use claw attacks exclusively (since that one can't let it shoot water). And it can (and will) switch between the two shells at will by burrowing into the ground and coming back up. As an added kicker, if you want to max out Rustrazor's equipment, you need to get very good at breaking the skulls on its back, for doing so drops an item you need to do so. What's worse is when he switches shells, you've lost all progress on breaking said shell and need to start again.

Yeah lol 2nd gen LS is really simple, and it's powerful considering that simplicity, the only down time is when you're not at max gauge, I think it's nice, it's unique. Shogun has the hugging walk move in MHFU, it's really annoying and yeah the hitbox is huge. He'll do it 3 times, I'm pretty sure, and then taunt, I think he'll always taunt after in MHFU. You can see an example of it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnfceaeIncSpZrs Though that video is in low rank, I think it's mostly the same in G rank, not sure. In MHFU there are two movesets, there's: Low rank Village and Low/High Gathering hall and High rank village (nekoht) and G-Rank Gathering hall I haven't been able to play MHGU much at all yet but I'd like to play more some day. I played a ton of MHGen when it came out, it's a great game.

I know this is random but can someone give me tips for the lady gourmet quest the celphalos keep moving around and a gendrome pops out of nowhere

The 1* guild quests aren't required to progress, but make sure to bring sonic bombs, you throw them at the cephalos and they'll pop out of the ground and you can hit them. Bring 10 sonic bombs, and 20 screamers and gunpowder to make more, make sure to also bring Book of Combos 1 through 4, that will make your chance to successfully make a sonic bomb 100% Try to ignore the Gendrome as much as possible, or just kill it first, depending on how good your gear is. Paintball it so you can see when it's about to enter/leave areas. Don't forget Cool Drinks, hope that helps.

I'll probably do it at the end of village high rank. I'd recommend either getting help online with it or just waiting until then. Getting to HR 5 is helpful because it gives you 4 gathering quests, but past that can wait.

My videos are always aimed at showing a minimum loadout that I could recommend. I always encourage people to bring more than I do, whatever they want to bring to be more prepared than I am, but to still know that if all else fails you can fall back on a relatively minimal set up and still win. I use the felyne comrade when I'm not recording sometimes, and if I need to, I'll use one in a video, ideally I won't though.

Well, until then; Monsters need to have their health brought below a certain amount before they're ready to be captured. Each monster has a way to tell it's ready to be captured, it can be subtle like just running away from you or becoming enraged very easily, or more obvious like limping or its ears/back fin laying down. Once a monster is ready, you just trap it and hit it with two tranq bombs. You don't get different or even necessarily more items from capturing, I don't think. There are just different rates from capturing compared to carving/killing. Rathalos Rubies are rare, I can't find anything about a Divine Plate though, that may be a translation thing? maybe a heavenly scale? Those are found in G Rank quests, also pretty rare. I don't bring cats so the monster can focus on me. I recommend most players bring cats and other things that I don't, like traps/flash bombs/bombs/tranq bombs/etc whatever extra stuff they would want.
