Always liked the Vayu matchup with valor on Brachy since the low KO thresholds. Time looks to be 3:43-3:44 for this run.
Also I have no idea why Brachy becomes a robot sometimes even when playing offline...

Just subscribed to your channel Mai, and I finally felt like expressing some regards! I've been hunting for about 3 years now and proudly define myself as a LBG main. Played MHXX on 3DS, then MHW & Iceborne, and still playing MHXX on Switch until MHRise arrives. Every time I was puzzled with how to deal with certain monsters in MHXX, I watched your video and learned a lot about how to aim, when to shoot and where to reposition myself. Besides educational purpose, your videos are great eye candies to watch and the part breaking sounds are like music to my ears. Sadly, I still prefer Type 2 aim in MHXX and haven't been able to get very comfortable with shooting out of Adept Evade with Type 1 aim - but that's that and I love hunting with LBG nonetheless. Thanks a bunch for your amazing videos. Keep pewpewing! Oh - and about this video! It was a great pleasure to see Valor + Seregios LBG combo in action. Looks like tons of fun. I might also give it a try!

Slicing uses cut hit zones and deals cutting damage, so it can cut tails.

Hey Mai, quick question. When going for a non rapid fire Pierce LBG, would you reccomend the Blast of the North Star or the Sedition sniper? The playstyle for the Sedition sniper seems closer to what I was hoping for, but the extra ammo P3 ammo for North star might be far more useful depending on the amount of damage I might be dishing. Kinda torn...

Not Mai, but I do know a thing or two about LBGs and I reckon I know which Mai would choose. Blast of the North Star is definitely the defacto choice for non-rapid pierce without a doubt. Make sure you use Full House II or above for best mileage, and consider investing in Load Up as well. The damage is fantastic, the 2 slots are amazing for builds, and inspite of these two factors, it still has some pretty great ammo capacity for it's pierce (It's no Reverb Bell, but it's damage is poopy). Another bonus, rapid fire Dragon lvl 2, which is a huge boon against something like Alatreon. Sedition Sniper really doesn't resonate as being that great a pierce gun in the first place. If you get 15 points into Pierce S+ (and maybe Load Up too) you can alleviate that problem somewhat and have a somewhat okay non-rapid pierce gun with with an evade heavy playstyle for use with valour that's quite fun. That said, the opportunity cost of making the Sedition Sniper even mildly competitive as a Pierce gun is probably better spent making an already suitable weapon even better. Most importantly, play however you find the most enjoyment. Personally, I'd say the North Stat is a safe bet, but give the Sedition Sniper a shot anyway and see if you can make it work. Imo, part of the fun of the game is coming up with your own unique weapon combinations. Happy Hunting!

@@Revoker1221 Wow thanks. I might capitalize on north star just because my charm allows it, but right now the skills I use are Crit eye 2 Repeat offender Crit boost Shot boost Dragon attack 1 Pierce up Dragon attack 13, repeat offender 5 000 Would that still be a good enough set?

Excuse me for intruding, Not Mai either but I can give you some advice. Sedition Sniper has the peculiarity that reload a bullet with each evasion (thats what makes it stand out; works great with valor evades), has access to a good amount of slicing 1 and 2, triblast for KO, Demon Armor if you are playing online and access to pierce 1 and 2 just to finish the job, that shouldn't be the main reason for choosing it. I can't think of a reason to use pierce without rapid fire but if u enjoy it go ahead. Thats a God Charm btw. All dragon lbg are crap, you should pair it with bow or DB. PD: Mai has some kind of fetish for Blast of the North Star so he might answer differently 😅
