This was a wonderful MHM, and something I’m glad I heard as I’m recently out of a bout of decision regret. I try to often live by the thought that everything turns out okay, and if it’s not okay it’s just not over. I also like seeing the openness of faith. As someone who has really only recently truly started a faith journey it is comforting and inspiring to see people open and strong about their faith talk about it and how it helps. I’m not a pilot of any type, in fact right now I’m working in an audit office, I just happen to think planes are cool and really like the content you guys do. All this to say that I hope you guys keep it up and have a good sense of pride/enjoyment in the fact that you’re touching all walks of life and inspiring and making differences everywhere. Thank you for your service and for the content you create!

It's also normal that missed opportunities can cause grief because of the loss. It's perfectly normal to feel bad about what you lost and/or missed out on. Take some time and work through it. If you are stuck, as mentioned talk to a friend, family or trusted professional in your life like clergy or a doctor. Good gob as always here!

I have to agree with Gonky; I've narrowly missed death on several occasions and afterwards I think about what the hell; how am I still alive and I most probably should not be, so the God's eye view pops up and I do think I must be here for a reason that I don't know yet. So, I live my life every day trying to do good things and help people, even just a smile because I know the littlest thing can bring great things for people down the road. God Bless all of you! I have had missed opportunities and setbacks but I have had a positive attitude (with a touch of cynicism) but so far, I've had a great life.

I missed opportunities some self-imposed, some from tough breaks. But when I look at my life and family, I'm not sure taking some past opportunity would be worth changing what I have now. I'm a retired 20-year deadend 04 because I strayed from the Navy's needs and measuring stick. Rather than taking some shitty staff position or Pentagon duty, I basically did what I wanted the last 9 years of service spending most of that time in Japan.
