MHMD [08] 16th century Muslim Sufis confused Jesus' Divinity with Muhammad!

Mel moves away from the MHMD references in the 7th century to about 1,000 years later, in the 16th century, where we find Muslim Sufi writers referring to their prophet Muhammad using divine terms to describe him.
The great scholar of Islam, Edward Sell in the 19th century wrote a book entitled "Faith of Islam", where he quotes Sufi scholars who said that "God's light united with Muhammad's body...before creation", intimating that Muhammad as united with Allah before creation.
This may explain why Muhammad is included in the 'Shahada' in Islam, their statement of faith, where he takes on an almost equal place with Allah.
Quoting from the Sira of Muhammad, Sell continues on by stating that the Sufis believe that Muhammad was the "divine Light", and that "he created Adam, and pre-existed the creation of the universe".
Quoting from the "Kitabi Ahwal el Kiamat" Sell points out that the Sufis considered Muhammad to be the 'White Pearl'.
Note that all of these references to Muhammad, including, "God's Light, existing before creation, participating in creation and the 'white pearl" are all references to Jesus as well, suggesting that the Sufis simply borrowed Jesus' titles and applied them to Muhammad later on.
The Islamic scholar S.W. Koelle said in relation to this time that "Muhammad became a parody of Christ" (see pages 247-248, 250).
About the same time, in the 16th century, Islamic art of Muhammad begins to change as well. Before that time one can find many pictures of Muhammad's face, but after the 16th century this practice was halted, and Muhammad's face is either blanked out, or is covered with a cloth, to hide it, suggesting that he was too holy to depict in art.
In conclusion, it seems that what we found earlier concerning the name 'Muhammad' in 7th century Christian Syriac texts, that they all referred to Jesus, similar to what we noticed in the coin of Muawiya from 663 AD. Furthermore, the 4 references to Muhammad in the Qur'an could also be Jesus, and now we find that even the 16th century Sufi references to the divine character Muhammad are also possibly derived from those earlier attributed to Jesus.

It seems to me that Muhammad in these passages has more parallels an Arian concept of Jesus. Which makes sense given the anti Trinitarian hypothesis of Islamic origins, especially in light of an older discussion on Arians in Spain joining with the Muslims during the 600 and 700s.

He appeared when the world needed a reassurance of faith and truth, because the Jewish men became greedy and ruled with fear inducing methods, not kindness and compassion, and forget about love. Love was not existing in their hearts anymore. This is why Jesús came to earth. What a horrifying time back then and the next 2000 years in which his message has been pushed behind. People are really lost without him. We all reincarnate, something the Catholic Church refuses to communicate correctly. What you don't know is that the verse is telling you that Allah SWT saved Prophet jESUs (pbuh) from those who are "PLANNING" to kill him. But Allah SWT planned, and He is the best of planners. Perhaps those Sufis were dismayed by how history had panned out. The Abbasid regime came to an inglorious end. You did get successful Islamic regimes afterwards, but some of those rulers were not admirable, and they'd see the same problems in this life story of the prophet, probably created in Abbasid times, rather than really from reliable traditions. As in the regime would want to make such a picture conform to their own values, which were somewhat imperialistic. So then, since Sufism is a devotional movement, they'd really want a hero like Jesus, with pure character, and divine origins, not what the Abbasid backstory had provided. So maybe picking up on references which had originally been about Jesus, but reinterpretted to be about the original envisaged Islamic teacher, tagged as Mohammed.

Hmm. What we call "the laws of nature" are simply the common patterns of nature that we have been observing for only a very short while. There is NO way to prove that these are hard and fast rules, since all we have is anecdotal evidence from a brief time period and one obscure part of the Cosmos. NO ONE can prove that miracles are impossible.
