I'm glad I'm not the only person that's so particular about their bait freezing, I thought I was going crazy for a while. There's no doubt in my mind that the fresher the bait is the more bites you get, so if I'm going to save bait to freeze I want to make sure it's as good as it can possibly be. Thank you M. Hood 👍

Thanks for the video! I've got a vacuum pack unit that I've had for 6 or 7 years and never used it. It's still in the box! Will put it to use since I've looked at that video. Looking forward to watching the next one to see what you catch with that good looking mullet. Thanks! And have a blessed day Mark!

Killer video. Right to the point. Exactly what I was looking for. I vacuum seal all my meats before I freeze them, It's the salt brine I needed to learn about for my Gizzard shad. Thanks for taking the time to make this video and share with us.

Great info on pool salt with the ice I didn’t know that. For sure gonna use that. Also I trim tails down to save on bags used for the food saver.

You are definitely wanting me to get a vacuum sealer now also if I used a towel for fish on the kitchen counter It would probably be the end of my KZbin channel and maybe life my gf would kill me anyways great video as always and take it easy.

Thanks for this video, I’ve also noticed that throwing fresh mullet straight in the freezer degraded the bait and made it mushy. It’ll work fine for gar, but not ideal for cats, especially flatheads. I’ll definitely be trying this out!
