You're one of the best mh build makers I know and more importantly *fair* towards people who don't have the best Charms /decorations. It would be really appreciated. But like I said. All questions are welcome at any time! ^_^ I've actually been thinking about MHW/Iceborne content for a while too. I'd definitely be up for it 👍🏽They only reason it hasnt happened yet, is because the game is so late in to it's lifecycle and the player rate is kind of dying down alot again right now. I'll have to get a feel for how much interest there is in MHW/I content so i can justify the large time investment at this point 😄 But it's one of my favourite games, so i'm up for it. I appreciate the amount of effort that has gone into making this video. I mean this in the nicest way possible, but please make sure you do your research before making such a video. There were multiple errors that are easy to miss as a casual viewer, but those who are experienced with guns will know the following: 1) Skills + augments should almost never be used on a dragon conversion build. They always take away 7 ele res and unless you get a crazy role like 2 levels of furious added, are never worth it. 2) You mention raw damage and skills that buff your raw damage such a attack boost, mail of hellfire and rapid fire up. These skills buff BOTH your raw and elemental damage. It is very worth trading out two points of coalescence for 2 more levels of attack boost. I know this part can be hard to believe, but I advise you and any reader to test this in the training area. If your total damages increases by 20% when using RF up 3, then its clearly impacting both raw and elem. The following are more nitpicks but I will include them: 1) Coalescence 3 is rarely worth it since its uptime is roughly 30-40% 2) Avoid bloodrite when using a build with strife as healing your red health will turn the skill off 3) Critical element 3 is still worth going for with 40-50% affinity. It will struggle to fit on these templates (especially DC Fury), but should you refine them, consider it (as well as maxing attack boost)

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback and you taking the time to leave a comment ^_^ This is exactly what the MH community needs more of! Though there are actually several things in what you said here, that are somewhat outdated information. 1) Skill+ should ofc always be avoided for Dragon Conversion Builds if possible, for the obvious reduction in Elemental Resistance!👍🏽(specialy on ranged weapons due to the conversion rate on them) Wich i talked about in alot of earlier videos. However, at some point sacrificing 7 E-Resistance is worth it, if what you get makes up for it overall. (When you look at the actual conversion rate, loosing 7 E-Res doesnt hurt much & You also dont always loose 7 E-Res, since you often actually get some positive E-Res in the same process. You can see that i lost 7 Ice Res on the Waist when using Skill+, but i also gained 2 Fire & 4 Dragon Res. So i actually only lost 1 E-Res on that particular part). But the actual reason why i didnt use the regualr augmenting method, is that after making over 80 Builds for various Sunbreak videos, i simply did not have the resources to re-roll that armor part with regular augmenting again to showcase it here😄And since i actually only lost 1 E-Res on that part, it wouldnt have made any difference mathematically here anyway. 2) You're information about ATK Boost, MoH & Rapid Fire in regards to Element is incorrect. - ATK Boost only buffs Raw Damage. - MoH buffs Raw Damage while on Red Scroll & Element while on blue Scroll. These Builds are mainly played on the Red Scroll, for the massive Element buff from Dereliction on Red. So we get NO Element buff from MoH here at all (except for the short time that we're on blue to get the E-Res buff from Dragon Con to activate, before switching back to Red). - Rapid Fire only buffs the Raw Damage portion of the bullet. It does not apply to it's elemental value. 3) You can definitely run Bloodrite when using Strife on a Build with Dereliction. The constant drain is enough to keep a bit of our healthbar red for the majority of the time. Wich can also be seen in the backgroundfootage. But as mentioned in the Video, Bloodrite is only meant to be addet for anyone that might feel "uncomfertable" with Health Drain, but still wants to use those Builds for the addet damage. 4) Yup, Crit Element & more ATK Boost are 100% worth it, when they fit in. That's why i mention the Build can be upgradet with those if you use a more powerfull Talisman. Since i stuck to using Talismans that arent crazy difficult to get, it slightly limited what i could showcase here.

Hello, I know damo very well, and I will just add this lad has had countless hours in this game and is very very knowledgeable about his bow guns. He theory crafts and tests every build he makes, therefore his information is pretty solid! Maybe test what he told you above and see what outcome you get, as to say his information is incorrect, is a wild assumption if you’ve never tried it. He’s super helpful and has helped many of people in my discord server regarding gun builds.

It's a very long known fact that both these skills have no effect on our actual elemental damage at all. I also did not make any assumption here. All of this information is avilable online and has been tested by various players, aside from myself, mutiple times aswell. For LBG & HBG buffing Raw Attack increases the the overall damage of elemental Bullets. But only because it raises the Raw damage portion of the Bullet. It however does not increase the actual elemental damage of the bullet. These are 2 values that are calculated completely seperately & then combined to make up the damage number we see on screen. You can also test this yourself super easily if you like 😊 All you have to do is fire at the training dummy without the Rapid Fire Skill, write down the numbers, then add Rapid Fire to the Build, then compare the numbers and do the math on the increase you got. It will show you very clearly that there is absolutely no chance that Raw attack increase Skills, are actualy increasing the elemental portion of the bullets. Further, I fully agreed with the statement about more Raw ATK being great for elemental Gun Builds in general 😄 I appreciate all forms of feedback because they help the community learn & grow together! All that aside, how come you are saying that i'm making assupmtions about Damo's information, when the person that actually left the feedback with information was damienmizzi9509 ? 🤔Unless they are the same person, Damo did not leave any information in the comments here himself.

For Rapid Fire i use the Mitzutsune one. You can slot in Elemental Reload with Long Barell and i managed to get a little bit higher Numbers then with the Silver Rathalos one 😊 1 Downside you have 1 Shot less, but you can Reload while Walking

Are you also taking into account elembane jewel? The only better option I've found that the ones showed on this video is the royal tempest+ instead of peace bringer (for normal water shots). Mizu lbg has lower attack and only a one slot rampage deco. Even if you use 3 atk decos on the weapon slots is not enough to compensate.

@@AlejandroDavidCordobaGenovez Yes Mitzu have lower Atk, but you can upgrade the Rampage Slot to a 2 Slot and the Gun can handle Elemental Reload with Long Barrel attached

I managed to get up to 140~150 Hits with my Rapid Fire Thunder Setup against Tigrex. My Skills are : Atk 7 (or Atk 4 with Coalescence 3, im currently testing which is better overall) Resentment 5 Rapid Fire Up 3 Spare Shot 3 Dereliction 3 Defiance 3 Element Exploit 3 Burst 3 Strife 3 Ammo Up 2 Evade Extender 2 Tune-Up 2 Recoil Down 1 Reload Speed 3 MoH 1 Bloodlust 1 Intrepid Heart 1 My Talisman is a Rapid Fire Up 2 and Atk 2 With 3-2-1 (I hope for a better one😅)

Just a single question, why use rathalos for fire, when uroktor has moving reload?

Uroktor has a level 2 rampage slot so can’t slot in elembane. Rathalos has a level 3 slot better raw and better reload speed. Also has an better capacity for fire pierce ammo

Hey 🖐🏽 as @TheHoneyDuke mentioned, it's due to various reasons that the Rathalos LBG comes out ontop. Mostly the Rampage Deco Slot & the overall Ammo Capacity just being way more usefull in general.

Possible, yes. But it will require some pretty crazy Augments & a very good Talisman. Otherwise it's just not worth trying to force Rapid Fire into that Build with what we would loose in exchange.

He encourages the use of super dango recovery at level 4 to slow down the dereliction health drain. I strongly recommend Dango self kelp at level 4, moxie at 3 and feet/marksman at 1. Can swap self kelp for super recovery. Booster also fits in well since 12 raw is a nice boost to your elemental damage.

You can find a Dango recommendation for elemental gunning at the end of the elemental HBG video. You'll see 3 different options there. They fit elemental LBG perfectly aswell. Dango "Self kelp", as Damo mentioned here aswell, is a good choice too if you want a more defensive setup 👍🏽

No they didn’t. It’s risen valstrax armor that has it and you have to kill one to unlock its armor

Single Shot is how the Ammo fires. Light Bowgung have Ammo's with Rapid Fire (mutiple shots fire at the same time), OR Single Shot (1 Shot fired each time)
