btw the investigations in rise are not bad RNG wise the higher the level the more rewards u get and its almost 100% u get some afflicted materials however the grind for the levels is tough and kind of annoying sense it has to be a anomaly quest if u play a normal quest u wont get to level 81 (which is afflected A5)

Goddamn those damage numbers at 0:30, I've only just received the Lunargaron urgent quest but as a SnS main I can't help but feel jealous, even if you are way more into endgame than me

SnS as well over here, while I can’t do THOSE kind of numbers, the later SnS you can make have been getting me through literally all of the TU monsters and a lot of this Anomaly stuff. So it’s still worth it! Haha

@@Deadrum oh yeah, I just beat the archdemon and I can say that although longsword has way harder hitting attacks, it's based on attacking with dodges, which doesnt give them many knockdowns, whereas with my SnS slugger I can get almost 5 knockdowns in a fight, with about 2 perfect rushes every knockdown

@@Slappy-Chappy exactly! I’d say almost all of the weapons are viable but that’s why I love SnS. I sat there and grounded the hell out of archdemon until I got his SnS too lol.

Also if you ask me SnS/Hammer is at its best when paired with 3 other pure dps, like dual blades or longswords, since you can get the stun off with the sns and then the damage from the other 3 is insane. Either way I'm nearly done grinding for the gold rathian poison sns and my build will probably be complete

Theres no need to grind u just do the quests that give 2 or 3 level ups a go to unlock a couple of bits to make weaps stronger.

I'm glad people can like rise and sunbreak good for them I honestly tried to (I actually got a rise edition switch and pro controller to play it) and I can't bring myself to like it. I think I'm just going to play iceborne while waiting for MH6 honestly.

That's about the same how people felt about MHW coming from GU. The portable and home console teams work differently so it's normal. World was amazing, but with that said it's not the first MH game neither is Rise. So play what you like and leave the other one for those who enjoy it. Opinions like these don't contribute in any way towards making things good. Imagine the next mainline MH game comes out and it's everything you wanted it to be, yet there will someone who will say "I've been playing Rise SunBreak, MH6 does not feel the same". Ofcourse it wouldn't because MH6 is not a portable game like Rise is, home consoles team works differently.
