I would know since I'm working through 3U (and soon 4U) on original hardware right now Though like you, I'm doing it solo since everyone in the lobbies, in 3U anyway, are all HR999 doing Abyssal or Dire Miralis runs and I'm doing my end of High Rank farm. (Or they're HR2) Good luck on your solo run. I recently just beat 3U's Village Alatreon with my HR Azure Rath gear and it was a real challenge. No carts and only 28 seconds left. Can't wait to see what the rest of the game and 4U have for me (inb4 Capcom remasters them this year lol)

Basically you have to play every hunt perfectly, with only 2 mistakes. I can never look at any 'easy' monster the same now lol. Even the Vespoids and normal Jagras or the like 1 shot you in master rank, its awful

Against the Kushala Daora, you could have swapped to the Bow to negate a lot of his BS. And yeah the Bow dies in 1 hit but I mean it's not like that's an issue in a no armor challenge run like this anyways lol flash pods and spread shot, bring some stuff to craft more power phals and flash pods mid fight, gg very fun video. Even with armor I related a little too hard to the Nergigante part.
