Honestly, that's one of the best parts of the game, though. MH never took itself too seriously, and the funny little bugs and quirks work with that knowledge.

8:00 that's actually a mechanic in the game, the monster can slam into the wall if you are up a ledge above it to knock you down. got annoyed when barroth would do it to me when transporting eggs

Yeah, and I hate it. It's designed so you always fall towards a ledge. As shown, it has crazy range and the animation for falling is long enough that you're practically never safe. Super irritating when you're just trying to run through an area.

@@maidenless1156 ive only done the required rampage quests lol, but i otherwise havent seen it too often. i think its probably mainly a mechanic so ranged weapons cant exploit the verticality of the maps and just shoot at monsters from where they cant reach
